Guilt

Xavier's P.O.V

I saw Zoey close the door, I moved Katherine from on top of me and put on some sweat pants. I ran after Zoey "Zoey!" I shouted but she didn't stop, she got in her car and drove away. Smooth Xavier real smooth, man why you have to be like this? You just hurt the person you like! She probably does too but not after seeing this. I'm so sorry Zoey.

I went back inside " Katherine! When I get back I don't want to see you here" I shouted and grabbed my keys and got in the car. I was going to go look for Zoey and ask for forgiveness and tell her how I feel. And there is really only one place she would go, Elena's house.

I drove for 10 mins but it felt like half an hour. I saw something in the distance but I couldn't tell what it was. I got closer and it was a car, a familiar car. My eyes went wide. Zoey! I stopped the car and ran out.

I looked inside the car and there she was unconscious. I pulled her out and took her to my car. I drove to the hospital, "hang in there Zoey" I said with panic in my voice.

I got to the hospital and walked in the ER. "I need help, and I want it right away!" I shouted and saw some nurses coming my way. They grabbed Zoey and put her in one of the hospital beds, I walked along with them. I wasn't going to leave her side, "sir, you cant come with us. You need to wait in the waiting room. Will go to you with news as soon as we have any news on her" one of the nurses said, I scowled " I'm not willing to go to the waiting room and if you force me to go or even drag me out, there will be consequences." I said in the coldest tone. The nurse just nodded and I followed them.

I've been watching them insert needles and connecting Zoey to a machines. I feel so guilty its all my fault, its my fault she got in to a car crash and its my fault I hurt her.

After about an hour or so, I'm still in scrubs from the surgery and am now sitting by her bed.

"She has a minor concussion and loss of blood but nothing serious," the doctor told me as he asked a few questions to the surgical interns. Once they left I was left alone with my plague infested thoughts.

"What happened?" Zoey stirred.

"What do you remember?" I asked as I helped her sit up.

"I remember everything, and why are you here aren't you supposed to be screwing the brains out of some slut?" She growled, damn she remembers everything.

"After the incident, I stormed out to find you and to apologize to you but you got in a car crash and I pulled you out." I sighed resting my head on her hand that I was holding.

"I am so sorry that I did that to you it was a douche move. But after seeing you with that guy and you to kiss I got jealous. Part of me wanted you to feel hurt and the other part wanted to get over you." I sighed.

"I choose you! I choose you over him, the minute I go to find you and tell you, you decide to go sleep around! So what do you want me to say! I like you, your just to cocky to notice it. By the way I think Katherine is waiting for you." She growled the last part out as she jerked her head to the door, Katherine was there glarig at Zoey and looking lustfully at me.

"Come on babe this loser doesn't deserve your time or affection." She hissed.

"Dare to speak about my girlfriend like that one more time and I will rip your head off of your body." I growled, she scurried away and I turned back to Zoey. Her face was void of emotion and she started at me,"girlfriend?" She said.

"I like you Zoey, I didn't know that you choose me over him. I'm sorry. I'm sorry I hurt you. I'm sorry I got you in my fucked up life. I'm sorry I put you in the hospital. I'm sorry. I don't expect you to forgive me but please do me the honor in having you as my girlfriend?"
