I try to reach for the assault rifle but its to far away. Even worse is the fact that I'm pretty sure I'm about to die. The walker has a tight grasp on me and I'm helpless.
"Shit. Shit. Shit. Shit. Shit!" I yell.
Just then I see a figure come up behind the biter. My first though is 'Oh god its another biter' but instead of lunging for me the figure raises it's at and then forces a sharp object into the biters head. That's when I realize that the sharp object is a knife. I push the body off of me and reach for my assault rifle. Then I look up at the figure.
"Th-thanks." I say as I observe the person. I cant make out much of they're appearance other than a person wearing a hoodie whom is also armed with a compound bow and a knife.
"Ok." He says as he slips his knife into his belt. "My name is Clyde" He says as he removes his hoodie and reveals short brown hair, green eyes, and a white skin.
I stare at him for what seems like forever. Then I start to feel awkward. "How did you get in?"
"Been here for a while" he says as he helps me up.
"Oh. Well. Ok. Um my name is Jane."
"Ok, Jane."
"So how exactly did you find me, Clyde we?"
"I heard you yell" He says as we walk back to my 'house'.
"I was going to lure it away from you with meat, but I ran out."he says.
"Meat?" I question.
"Yeah, biter bait." He calls it.
"Biter bait?" I ask with a slight giggle.
"Yeah"
We reach the house and I introduce Alyssa and Joshua to Clyde and we make small talk for a while. Then Joshua and Clyde go down to the basement and look for anything useful. I walk over to Alyssa and check up on her.
"You feeling any better?" I ask her as I roll up her jean leg and find that the wound is close to infected.
"Yeah. But I need some meds or something to keep it from getting infected. Oh and we need to bandage it up. Joshua didnt bother with it." She explains just as Clyde and Joshua return with a box of nails and a huge wooden board. Then I set my hammer down on the table and Joshua picks it up and nails the board to the front door. And when he's done Clyde helps with Alyssa's wound.
