"Borla, Cathna?" Aspen howled through each den one by one. "I didn't, I mean, I don't and uh, umm" she stutters nervously, Aspen spots the two huddled in a small den near the other side of the clearing. "I'm sorry about before" Aspen apologises. Borla looks up and growls, "leave us alone" she snarls and huddles closer to Cathna,
"I know I was mean and I know I was aggressive but I didn't mean to hurt you."
"Well you did hurt us!"
"I didn't mean to!"
"But you did and that's what hurts the most..." I don't know why I even bother reasoning with these two.
"Never Mind, I should just go..."
"You should." Aspen takes one last glance into the den and shuffles away nervously, what kind of war have I started?!

The sun was slowly setting on the horizon by now, no food from the hunters or scouts, but that's not unusual. Aspen makes her way to her den where her father awaits. "You were great out there, Eagle" he leaped up to great her. Aspens head hung low and didn't flinch at the sound of her dad. He always called her eagle, she was always known for how quick her mood could swing. Like an eagle swooping for prey, she could do it like that. She inched passed her dad, down into the depths of the den. "What's wrong?" Her father walked by her side,
"I can't find my unicorn, what does it look like?!"
"I'm sorry...." He glanced away in thought," your mother could help..."
"I don't think so" she replied simply.
"Talk about it in the morning, get some sleep."
Aspen curled into a tight ball, trying not to let a word or emotion in.

Midnight struck, cold air flowing into the den, hitting Aspen like an arrow, sending shivers down her spine. She shivered violently as she moved cautiously to the mouth of the den to survey the time. "I know I was wrong," she whispered,
"I know I was mean," she continued, "but I still know I didn't mean it."
