I didn't feel like going to school today. Ima see Laura and Kendrick hugging and kissing. While I was driving to school, I kept thinking about her. Sometimes I feel like I'm missing something in my life. And that's my best friend, Laura.
"Wassup Odell" me and Jarvis did our handshake.
"Where Jeremy" I ask.
"Over there with that girl" he pointed at Jeremy talking to this chick. "He having a party tonight"
"On a school night"
"Yeah, his parents left out of town yesterday" we both chuckle.
"Now this nigga cutting up" I laugh.
"Yeah, showing off" we bust out laughing again. "But here the thing"
"What?"
"His parents coming back tonight"
"How you know" I said.
"They told my mom to watch his ass, it gone be so funny when his mom and pops walk in that door seeing everybody drinking and smoking" I bust out laughing again. "Don't tell him tho"
"I won't"
"You know I saw Laura walking by herself inside"
"For real" I said excited.
"Yeah, why you so excited" he narrowed his eyebrows at me.
"I have to tell her about Kendrick, he don't want to be in no relationship with her"
"Tell her what" i heard Kendrick voice behind me. I turn around sighing. He had his friends behind him while smoking his cigarette. I stayed quiet till he walk away. "I don't want you near 'my girl' understand" he whisper.
"Yes mam" I smile.
"Fuck you Odell"--" see you at the party "
"Yeah me too"--" just to let you know" he look at me. "I don't fuck boys" he shook his head walking inside the school.
Stay away from Laura, never.
