The Perks Of Being A Girl [Zayn Malik]

Perk 3 - Invitation

*

School sucks. No doubt.

There's too many things to say that is totally and utterly wrong. And to think I wanted to be an English teacher. Not in this school.

Thank god I auditioned for the X-Factor.

But how did I end up here?

Ah, right. Stupid hormones.

I walked down the hall to my next class, which was History. Why did I even choose this subject?

History is history which means it happened in the past. Why do we need to learn it if it's in the past?

So many questions, not enough answers.

Oh boy, this class is going to be awesome! Note the sarcasm, will you?

I headed in and saw my "clique". Marilyn perked up and waved her hand for me to go over. I did and sat down beside her.

"So, did you hear about Damon's party?"

"Oh, he's having one?" I said trying to sound interested.

"Yeah, I got invited!" One of the girls said - I forgot her name. Not that it matters.

All of the other girls started agreeing with what's-her-face and I just dozed off.

Mentally, I was thinking, *scoff* excuse me, how come I didn't get invited *flips hair dramatically*.

"Wait," another unknown bitch said, "what about Veronica?"

"Veronica?" Marilyn asked. It's always her, why? "Were you invited?"

"No." I shrugged my shoulders, again attempting to show that I have no interest in their conversations and not wanting to be part of the unintelligent nonsense.

Sheesh, I sound like Marcel.

"That's not fair!" They gasped. They sounded more like goats that have just finished a marathon than normal.

"I don't really - "

"You have to be invited!"

Right on time, Mr. Jones, or Harvey walked in and said, "Get to your seat, class."

Thank you Harvey. He is my new hero.

He did save me from social embarrassment.

The lesson was painfully long and I was still wondering, how come we have to learn this when school's over in two weeks?

Finally, the bell rang for next period and the class disappeared faster than a llama could run.

I'm not sure if llamas can actually run, though.

Never mind.

Just then, a boy with bleach blonde hair came up to me and said, "Hi Veronica!"

Automatically, the sound of his voice told me that he was gay. For once, I was actually happy that I'm a girl.

"My brother's having a party tonight, wanna come?"

"Sure, I don't see why not." Nothing special's happening tonight, anyways.

"Alright, see you then!" After that statement, he skipped out of class.

I'm a great girl, don't you think?

Sorry that it's short.

Did a fast update.

HELLO HARVEY.
