A Promise

It's been a couple days since I've seen or talk to Sam, I've been so busy with beau since he's only here for one more day now, I help him bring some of his stuff over and help him pack up the rest from his apartment , he and his brother bring what he doesn't need to good will and the rest here, I move a lot of my clothes into the guest room to make room for him, it's weird I haven't had to share a closet in along time, since Mark and he had a lot of clothes. Beau comes in bringing in the last of the clothes. He only uses 1/4 of what I gave him, he had two dressers one full of this underwear/ socks and gym clothes, the other filled with jeans and tshirt all his nice clothes he has hanging so we move both is dressers into the giant clothes he helps me bring back my clothes since there is room, the kids are still at school they are sad beau is going back North Carolina, but happy he'll be coming back to stay, they love him " Hey Jen?" beau asked from the closet, I pop my head in with a silly smile on my face, "yeah baby?" Beau looks at me with a serious face "So what are you going to do with Sam? Are you gonna see her again or what's going on? I walk over to him now holding his hand, "baby, Sam and I are friends, the kids lover her, if you don't want me to fuck her I won't, but I though you liked it?" I say with a confused face. " baby I do like it, but if your gonna be fucking her more then me, then I don't" He says looking at me straight in the eye. " baby, if you want me to stop fucking her I will but I'm not gonna stop being friends with her, it feels like I've know her forever"  I stand up and kisses his lips and pull away starting to walk into the other room." Baby " he says getting up taking my hand. I turn around to look at him, I see him down on one knee, I'm starting to freak out a little, "Jennifer, this is not what you think, I just want to promise you that you are my forever" he holds out a diamond rings that's flat spelling dance again on it with diamond around it. "Baby this is a promise ring that one day in the future you will be my forever" I just look and him and smile "Yes beau I promise you are my forever." He slides the ring on and gets up and kisses me. It's not a big ring but I love it, he knows me so well.

Beau picks up the kids from there dance class, im cooking dinner healthy Mac and cheese and ground turkey, with salads for whoever wants it, we are making dinner quick, beautiful we are taking Beau to the airport at 8. My phone buzzes a couple times well I'm cooking the turkey, I'm singing and dancing around a little, I see I have a message from Benny, my mom and Sam, I read Benny he was just telling me that there is a couple movie scripts to read through and to see if I want to do them, I call my mom, to tell her about how Emme is doing, mom is out in Hawaii with my sister Lynda, we talk for a couple more minutes, I took off the turkey and add it to the Mac and cheese. I read Sam's text and she was offered a part in a tv show and she is excited. I text her back saying I'll call her after dinner and dropping Beau of at the airport. She just says okay. " Mommmmmmmmmy we are hungry mommmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmma" both the twins start yelling as they run in the kitchen, I laugh "go put your stuff away and wash your hands, food will be on the table" I tell them " Bear I'm hungry too" Beau says putting his arms around me well I plate everyone's food, " baby I'm getting your plate ready right now, now wash your hands baby" I turn and kiss his cheek just before he lets go of me and washes his hands and grabs two plates well I grab the other, the kids are already sitting at the table, "momma?" Max says looking at me? " what baby" I say well putting his plate down " can I say grace?" I smile at him and ruffly his hair "sure baby" I take my set and max begins "Dear Lord, thank you for the food mama made us, Mac and cheese is my favorite, thank you for giving me my sister and taking care of her when she was allergic, thank you for Beau and bring him back for a couple days we missed him and thank you for my mama Amen" we all say Amen and laugh at max and tell him he did great I had a small tear form in my eyes, he is such a sweet little boy always looking out for his sister and me. We eat dinner talking about our day. Emme tells us all about dance and max chimes in when he needs to. Emma and I garb the plates and start to clean them well max goes and helps Beau finish packing. "Momma, when is Sam gonna come back over?" "I'm gonna call her after we drop Beau off, you know she got a role in a new show, so you'll be able to watch her on tv when you miss her" I say washing the dishes as Emma loads them in to the washer. " Yeah! Can I talk to her on the phone momma? I miss her she was like my best friend" "yes baby you can" I smile at the fact that my kids love Sam and miss her since its been almost a week, I guess kids get attached fast this days. The boys come down and I tell max and Emme to grab a jacket. It's around 8:45 and Beau plane leave in an hour we are rushing to get the kids in the car they take forever. "Babies come on Beau's gonna miss his flight" I yell up stairs I knew I should have already had they're jackets down here. The kids come halling ass beau already has my Car started and all four doors ope I close the door and head out. He's driving "kids seatbelt a now" I say looking back at them, they're on there iPads already, Emma and Max do as I say and we are driving off traffic is light this evening, I'm holding Beau's hand as he is finger plays with the promise ring. I zone out think of the first day I met him.
