Josh's Point Of View
Today was the day we were all going to get a boat and go out to that island so Ciara could see the dolphins. I think the girls were slightly worried just in case we ended up on IOD but I knew we wouldn't end up there because the islands were far apart and that wouldn't happen to us because we weren't that stupid to go out on that island. I still couldn't get over the fact that Yn still believed the boys were alive after two years, they have been missing for that long how could they have possibly survived?
Finishing getting dressed, I made sure I was ready before picking up my bag pack and throwing it over my shoulder, I grabbed my wallet and phone and put them into my jacket pocket before exiting my room and heading towards Ciara's room to see if she was ready. I knocked on her door and waited for a while before Ciara opened her door. "You ready?" I asked her. She nodded her head with a smile. "Yeah I'm ready," She said walking out closing her door behind herself.
"Right we need to leave before mum and dad get back and question why we're leaving with bag packs," I say to her. "alright let's go then we still need to meet up with Sonny and Yn first," Ciara said before walking down the stairs which I followed. "you excited about what we're doing?" I asked her as we both reached the bottom of the stairs. She grabbed her jacket and put it on before answering me. "Yeah, I am. I can't wait" She said smiling happily.
"You've got your key with you haven't you?" I asked my younger sister as we walked over to the front door. She opened it and walked out, me doing the same thing. "Yes I do," She said as I saw her take her key out closing the door and then locking the door before she placed her key back into her coat pocket. We both walked away from our house starting to walk to meet Yn and Sonny.
"I still can't believe we lied to mum and dad saying we weren't doing anything today apart from going shopping at the mall," Ciara said as we walked down the streets. "Well, it's a good job we don't lie often because do you really think that if they knew our plans that they would allow us to do what we want to do?" I said looking at Ciara. "No because they would think we would go missing," She said. "exactly sometimes lying in the best thing to do. I mean we're only going for a couple of hours and we will be back by the time they get from work. "I said to my sister.
Third Person POV
All four of them met up in the designated place where they had arranged to meet up. They were now waiting for the bus to take them down by the docks so they could get a boat. "What if the man won't hire us a boat then what?" Yn asked looking at Josh. Josh is the one who came up with the plan to hire a boat from the boat shop down by the docks so they could go out to the island. "We will think of something there's always plan b," Josh said back to them all, the girls sighed in relief.
"I really want to go but I hope the man doesn't stop our plans by not allowing us to hire a boat," Ciara said. " I mean we have one person that's over eighteen so there shouldn't be a problem" Sonny pointed out. " I don't know, don't you think he might be a bit suspicious how four teenagers want to hire a boat especially as he was the same man that hired the boat to the boys and they disappeared," Ciara said slightly panicking that they won't be able to get a boat.
" Don't worry sis, we will get a boat and if we don't we will find another way of getting there?" Josh said before they stopped talking about it because the bus had come. They all got on the bus, paid for their tickets and then walked through the bus and sat down at the back of the bus.
Not one of them talked about going to the island they were heading to because of the people on the bus, they knew most people on there which meant if they spoke about it, it would get back to all of their parents about what they were up to and their parents would know they have lied too. The four of them talked about other stuff while they waited for their stop.
Eventually, after waiting for a half-hour, they were upstanding and waiting for the bus to come to a halt, stopping, allowing them to get off and continue with their plan. The bus doors opened and off they got thanking the driver as they got off. They walked side by side walking to the boat shop. It didn't take them long because the shop wasn't far from the bus stop. They stopped outside and looked at the shop before Josh being the oldest opened the door and walked in first the others slowly following a pursuit.
Ciara grabbed Yn's hand causing her to stop walking and to turn to look at her best friend. "What's wrong?" Yn asked her. " what if it doesn't go to plan, what if we can't get a boat?" Ciara asked the older girl. "Don't worry, you know your brother he always has a plan and besides he can lie his way through anything, you know that I know that and even Sonny does too so we have nothing to worry about we will get a boat?" Yn said, Ciara, nodded her head. " I guess," She said before they all carried on walking to catch up with Josh who was already talking to the man behind the desk about hiring a boat, they just watched as Josh talked his way into getting the keys off the man for one of the boats. They also saw Josh hand over £25 for hiring the boat for the day.
"Thank you, have a nice day and be careful out there," The man said to Josh and the others who were slightly behind him. "we will see you soon," Josh said and all four teenagers left the shop and walked down to the dock where the boats for hire were all lined up ready for use.
Soon enough the teenagers were on the boat, Sonny being in charge of steering the boat while the others sat back and relaxed. Sonny wasn't the oldest but he knew a lot about boats and knew how to steer one, not like Josh he was clueless when it came to boats. The boat started heading away from the dock at a rapid speed as the boat moved along the water, sailing away heading towards the teenager's destination as Sonny steered and Josh told him the directions to the island from where he was sitting.
The girls soon turned around and saw the shore getting further and further away as the boat went further out to sea. "we can't even see it anymore" Ciara pointed out. " I know but we will be back there, later today anyway so, for now, let's just enjoy this trip," Josh said to the girls. The girls smiled and turned back around relaxing back on the chairs as the boys did most of the work.

They were all unaware as the boat went further and further away from the docks, the weather was changing. The boat was heading towards a storm, the storm that was going to change the direction of the boat whether or not they liked it and it didn't matter how hard they tried to keep the boat heading in the direction of the island they wanted to go to.
They weren't going to be heading to the island where they can see the dolphins from, they were going to be heading towards IOD. The island that not one of them thought they would end up heading towards. The island that they were told to stay away from, the same island that no one has been to since the police officers went and disappeared when they went looking for Luke, Calum, Ashton and Michael.
They were going to that island and they will soon be wishing they never came up with the idea to take a boat and head towards an island especially when they end up on IOD.
