Part Ten

 Yn's Point Of View.

"I can't believe you're still alive," I said hearing Luke chuckle. "Why did you think I was dead?" He asked me. I pulled away from hugging him and turned around looking for Josh but noticed he had gone and so had Calum.

"Where did they go? " I ask looking at Luke who was looking at me intensively. "They just probably went to walk around the island," He said. I raised my eyebrow at him, "really because we already did that and let me tell you this island isn't that great" I say being honest.

It wasn't like the island had anything good about it, it was just an island covered with sand and coconut trees here and there, it looked small, I'm sure I have walked around it many times and not seen anything different, same old plain island. I wanted to go home.

"Yeah well learn to like it as you won't be going anywhere anytime soon," He said with attitude and a stern tone. "We will get off this island," I say making him chuckle again. "You know I didn't realise you were so funny Yn, you can't get off this island.  We couldn't two years ago what makes you so sure that you're going to get off this island" He said and tilted his head to the side looking at me with a smirk. Why was he tilting his head like that?

I had this bad feeling seeing him look at me like that, I wasn't one to get bad feelings but when I did, it was bad. I had it right now but I don't know why it was just seeing Luke smirking at me with his head tilted like that made me feel this way.

"Because we want to go home," I say raising my voice a little and taking a step back as he looked at me normally, he took a step forward.  "we wanted to go back, we wanted to go back home but there is something you should know. You don't get what you want, not on this island. You won't get to go home YN, you won't see your family again. The last time you saw them will be the last.  You'll spend your days on this island wishing it was your last day because this island is  worse than your worst nightmares." He said making me laugh a little. "You're acting like there are monsters on this island or something," I say shaking my head and turning around to see if I could see either Josh, Sonny or Ciara.  I couldn't see any of them. It was silent.

My body shuddered from the feeling of a cold breath hitting the back of my neck, causing goose pimples to rise to the surface of my skin. "Well you could say that but I wouldn't really call them monsters just humans that are no longer alive but not dead either" I heard Luke say his mouth millimetres away from my ear.  What did he mean by that?

"What are you talking about Luke?" I asked turning around to see him very close to me.  His eyes staring into my own.  "What I'm trying to say is, we aren't human," He said. "Come again," I say not understanding why he would say what he did to me. Was he joking? "What didn't you get, we aren't human," He said.

"Neither am I, I'm a walking corpse," I say sarcastically, rolling my eyes at Luke's stupidity and failure at his attempt at a joke which clearly wasn't funny at all, it was lame.  "Well, that can easily be arranged" I heard a voice from behind me say. Slowly, I turned around to come face to face with another man. Who the hell was he?

"Who are you?" I asked I watched him look at Luke before looking back at me.  I think what they were saying, they were doing it to try and scare me because of being on this island, nothing more or nothing less. I mean there isn't anything they could really say that could scare me properly.

"You haven't told her yet," The man said shaking his head at Luke. "No, she's not the easiest to talk to at the moment, she's being very sarcastic," He said, making the man chuckle. "got to like them sarcastic haven't you, it tastes better when you suck their blood," He said, making my body freeze again. I was getting that bad feeling again. I looked from Luke to the man to see them both grinning at each other before they both looked back at me.

A gasp left my mouth, in shock once seeing their eyes and their teeth,  the razor-sharp pointy teeth on full display as I looked at them.  They couldn't be, there was no chance, that they could be... this stuff only happened in books and Twilight for heaven sakes it didn't happen in real life.  "She looks like she's seen a ghost," The man said amused, I felt the colour drain from my face at the thought of what they really were.  "No Drake, she has just seen two vampires instead," Luke said running his tongue along with his teeth. 

I then started to think back to what Josh was saying about not doing that' when I was hugging Luke,  did he see what I was now seeing? He had to right, it makes sense why he said something so out of the ordinary. He saw their eyes and teeth, well he saw Calum's when they were both here and now he's not. What happened to one of my best friends?

I didn't want to know, I looked at them both one last time before I continued taking steps back and Luke started walking forward and placed one of his arms in front of Drake indicating to him not to move. "She's mine,"  Luke said looking at me with that stupid smirk of his."Where's my friend?" I ask scared, Where was Josh?

"You're on about your friend Josh right? He's probably dead by now" Luke chuckled.

"Yeah I saw him being chased by Calum earlier, he looked like he was going to be caught for sure," Drake said grinning at me. "I'm very surprised you aren't running either, to be honest girl," Drake said walking forward he walked past Luke, only for Luke to grab his shirt and pull him back really harshly so he hit the sand. I watched Luke turn to look at him. "She's fucking mine, Drake, don't make me tell you a third fucking time" Luke spat.

I was scared at this point, but yet despite being scared I still had the courage to say the words that I would probably never say in a situation like this, "You've got to catch me fucking first" I spat and turned around rapidly and started running away, running across the sand. I didn't have to look back to know Luke was probably running after me, and everyone knows from the books and films that vampires could run fast and me? I could run but I couldn't keep running forever not without water or some fluids to keep hydrated.

"Challenge accepted" I heard Luke say from behind me.

If only this was a dream, I could be safe and sound asleep in my warm bed but no, I had to be on an island, this island of all of them. Island of Disappearances running away from a vampire who once used to be a boy I used to see around school and now he is a bloodsucker. 

A hot one, though, I shouldn't be thinking that about him not when he was running after me to kill me but I couldn't help my thoughts because the truth was he was still hot even if he was a bloodsucker craving blood.
