15 - rewritten

It'd been 3 days since I told my parents I was dating Dan, and I still hadn't been back home. Dan had let me borrow some of his clothes as all of mine were back at the house. I'd spoken to mum since I left, she felt guilty for what dad had said but she didn't want to go against him. Martyn was being kind too, he was so supportive. He'd agreed to bring some of my stuff over to Dan's at the weekend.

It was 10am and Dan hadn't woken up yet. I didn't want to wake him, he was so beautiful when he slept. I checked my phone but there were no new notifications, so I just played a few games of flappy bird (a/n I know this game is old don't kill me). About 20 minutes later, Dan woke up
"Morning" he groaned
"Good morning" I smiled, placing a small kiss on his cheek
"What day is it?" He asked
"Friday" I replied, smiling at him
"I've got work today" he moaned
"What time?"
"I start at 1, I should be home for about 6"
"Okay" I smiled

It was 12:30 and Dan had just left for work. I was alone in the house for the first time and I took the opportunity to look around. I was always a nosy person but I usually felt bad afterwards. Nevertheless, I started in the bedroom. I knew Dan wouldn't have anything to hide but I was curious.

As I opened his bedside table, I saw a small blue notepad (which I later found out to be a dream journal), some ibuprofen, a pack of tissues, some condoms and a Stephen King book.

Then I moved on to the wardrobe. I didn't know what I had expected to find other than clothes.

After a 10 minute rummage around Dan's room, I decided there wasn't much point as I wasn't going to find anything.

I made some lunch, went on my phone and sat on the sofa patiently and waited for Dan to get home

I was worried when it was 6:15pm and Dan wasn't currently home. I knew he had said 'about' 6 but I was still panicking. What if something had happened to him? I didn't want to call and seem too clingy and weird. After all, he was only 15 minutes late.

15th Feb: A/N I rewrote this chapter and changed the storyline slightly because I don't think it was written very well
