I woke about an hour or two after the movie had ended. Grace was still peacefully asleep in the same position she was previously seated in. Nathan had his arms crossed and was also asleep. I smiled a little bit and got up as quietly as I could. Crickets outside were chirping with nothing but the sound of the wind to join in a unison. No matter how hard I tried, Zayn couldn't leave my mind. Despite all the wrongs and rights, I knew I loved him. Zayn was, nor would ever, be one to confess his love for anything. The private thoughts and silent words would drive him to insanity at some point, but maybe that's just what he wanted. I didn't understand his logic and quite frankly, I don't think I ever will. I began to realize the flight back home was in two days. Zayn would still be with Natalie which made me start to question whether or not he cared about me anymore.

"Stop thinking about him. He's no good for you, yet you want him more than anything. Why?" I asked myself, sitting by the window.

Nathan began to shift in his sleep, awakening slowly. I stayed quiet and watched him.

"Is it the beautiful morning yet?" He smiled.

"No, not yet." I chuckled as he stood, "But go change into some pajamas so I can wash your clothes at once."

"I am too tired to go all the way to the room and change. You will have my boxers in a moment." Nathan removed his jeans and shirt right there.

"Nathan!" I laughed, picking up the clothes and getting out back to wash them by hand.

I put his clothes aside, grabbing the basket and beginning with my own clothes first. I whistled calm tunes to relax as the boredom of washing clothes took over. The load of my clothes was hanged and ready to dry as I began on Nathan's clothes. All his button downs resembled exactly the same, but his professional clothing was adorable in a way. The shirts were hanged and I began on the load of casual jeans.

"What the..?" I pulled out an envelope from one of the back pockets, seeing my name in bold letters and Zayn's name as well, "From Z-Zayn..?"

I opened it and burst into tears, holding the crumbled letter to my chest.

"Absence makes the heart grow fonder.."

..

"Serenity, would you be a dear and make me some coffee? I'm not feeling good." Nathan's grand mother kindly pleaded.

"Of course. Take a pill with it and an extra nap." I suggested, starting on the coffee.

"Good morning!" Nathan happily announced, walking in and kissing my cheek.

"Morning." I gave him a bit of cold shoulder for hiding such a  big thing from me.

"Serenity?"

"Hmm?"

"Would you like to go out on a date tonight?"

"T-tonight?" I turned my back and looked unsure.

"Yes! A beautiful restaurant for two and one of the most romantic and fanciest of all of France." He smirked.

"I..I'm actually not feeling well. Tonight, I might go for a walk is all to clear my head."

"I come with?"

"No, Nathan. I just need..alone time with myself. I'll take a little walk and I'll come back. Okay?" I smiled up at him.

"You promise?"

"I promise." I crossed my fingers behind my back, waiting for the coffee.

Once the coffee was done, I grabbed a pill and a cup, jogging out away from him. He watched and puckered his lips in some sort of thought and annoyance.

"Zayn might see you tonight, but you will not see him tonight." Nathan spoke under a warm breath, watching me care to his nana.

..

"Natalie, there was literally nothing! I walked around like an idiot for hours." Zayn snapped, walking into her room around 10:30 in the morning.

"I got the location wrong. We'll figure something out tonight." She replied, barely noticing him as she applied on eye liner.

"Tonight? I can't." Zayn murmured.

"Why not? We've got tonight and tomorrow, then we leave. Wanna lose your chance?" She raised a brow.

"I..."

"What's so important about tonight?" She asked, standing up and wrapping her arms around his neck, kissing his collarbones.

Zayn kept his arms to his side, simply letting her do as her little twisted mind desired. Natalie's red lip stick inked his skin and proceeded to his lips, but he looked away.

"I have my own things to sort out. I'm private about them and you know that." He warned.

"Fine." She smirked and pecked his cheek.

"I'll see you." He nodded and walked out.

Natalie watched as the door shut and laughed.

"Poor, poor boy. You think you're going to see that little toy of yours, but she won't be seeing anyone once I'm done with her. You're all mine, Zayn." She snickered, walking over to the balcony in her black high heels.
