Thanks to my father, everything was already taken care of, including transportation. I bypass through customs in a breeze and soon my freedom comes. I take my time appreciating the beautiful structure of the grand airport as I wander idly like a vagabond, occasionally smiling in appreciation at the beautiful sculptures dotted all over the place.

As I make my way across the shiny black marble floor under the high ceiling with solar panels. People go about their business all around, some alone formally dressed with haggard expressions, some grinning excitedly with their families.

After an hour of ambling in the large terminal, I finally drag my luggage towards the parking lot connected to the airport.

I approach the counter where a mediocre-looking young un, not a day over twenty, sits with drooping eyelids, looking extremely bored out of his wits. On the wall behind him sits a board with rows of shiny keys hang in perfect alinement. I conclude those are the car keys as a key with a pink Honda logo catches my eye.

The youngster's  expression brightens as he sees making my way towards him and he straightens up with an air of importance.

"Good evening, ma'am. How may I assist you?" He asks me politely with a charming smile. "My name is Aries Leroy and I was wondering if you could direct my to my car." I flash him a grin of my own and he gives a small gasp before reaching down for a brown clipboard and abruptly swiveling around to face the extensive display of car keys.

After consulting his clipboard, he picks a simple looking set of keys from the top corner of the black board, he signals with his free hand and another teenage boy comes over from who knows where.

The blonde boy beams widely at me before graciously holding open the door and leading the way to a sleek black Porche. The beautiful automobile sits there in all its glory, standing out with its glossy body, heavily tinted windows and shiny metallic blue rims. Father could not have chosen a better vehicle. I must thank him for this.

I clasp my hands in delight as a shoot my brand new Porche a sly smile and lick my lips in anticipation. Oh I can't wait to sit in that pristine leather seat behind that majestic steering wheel, the need for speed.

I grab the keys from the blonde's outstretched hand and waste no time in launching myself into the cool leather seat, sinking into bliss. I sigh in content and ask the blonde ever so nicely if he could bring my luggages; I just cannot bear to leave my wonderful little bubble of happiness. He nods knowingly and comes back with a blue clipboard in addition to my luggage. I proceed to sign my name as he places my baggage in the back seat as instructed.

Once everything is settled, I race off at full speed into the sunset and live happily ever after.

Just kidding.

I stomp on the pedal and laugh as my body tingle from the high velocity. I leave the airport grounds in mere seconds and soon I reach the main road. It's already nearing nine and the full moon hangs in the vast, cloudless, navy blue sky. Numerous stars girdle the luminous orb, twinkling brightly, like diamonds set in black velvet.

I weave through the vehicles on the road, earning those familiar fingers and that melodious harmony of honks. Just like home.

I make my way towards the apartment I will be staying at for who knows how long. Goodearth Apartments. It's quite a decent place, with good facilities. Or so the brochures say. "We welcome you to the heaven on earth." I hope the apartment lives up to what the brochures claim.

My father suggested staying at a hotel, but I refused, explaining that it would be pointless to stay at a posh hotel for an extensive period of time. Therefore, Father got the next best thing: an apartment.
