"What?!" Leion exclaimed as there were now two Spheals in battle.
"It's Ditto's ability, Imposter." Melody explained. "It allows it to automatically transform without using the move Transform"
"Great" Leion said.
"Alright Ditto! Rollout!" Melody commanded the Ditto.
Ditto barreled towards Spheal and rammed him.
"Spheal Rollout!" Leion told his Spheal. The battle of the rollouts lasted three turns before Leion's Spheal fainted.
"Spheal come back!" Leion said returning his fainted partner to a pokeball. "Go Snorunt! Snorunt Shadow ball!" A ball of dark energy flew from Snorunt and hit Ditto directly and Ditto collapsed.
"Ditto return" Melody said and threw another ball. "Go Diggersby!"
A large pokemon landed in the area and smiled at Snorunt.
"Diggersby use Swords Dance!" Melody commanded.
Diggersby rubbed his ears together and smiled again at Snorunt.
"Snorunt use Ice Beam!" Leion pointed at the Diggersby.
Snorunt shot a long beam of ice at Diggersby and struck him directly.
"Ah! I forgot she knew Ice Beam." Melody said to herself. "Diggersby take it out with Return!"
Diggersby ran at Snorunt and crushed it in a hug. When Diggersby dropped Snorunt, Snorunt had fainted.
"Snorunt return!" Leion said and threw the ball Alex had given him "Go Cloyster!"
The Shelled pokemon landed on the battlefield and grinned evilly at Diggersby and Melody.
"Oh! The fabled Cloyster Alex said would be his biggest competition! You brought it!" Melody exclaimed loudly. People turned towards the battle and murmurs could be heard.
"It's a Cloyster."
"Only the King of Ice uses a Cloyster."
"It's Leion, King of Ice!" Someone in the front of the crowd yelled and pointed at Leion.
Leion blushed but didn't turn, he had a battle to focus on.
"Cloyster Shell Smash!" Leion commanded. Cloyster closed it's shell for a second then opened it again his grin bigger than before.
"Diggersby raise your stats as well, Swords Dance!" Melody said obviously enjoying the battle.
"All right Cloyster time to end this battle!" Leion said to his Cloyster. "Sorry to end this battle so quickly Melody!"
"Wha-?" Melody was very confused.
"Cloyster Icicle Spear!" Leion exclaimed.
Cloyster shot a long sharp shard of ice at diggersby. A direct hit and Diggersby fell.
"Diggersby return!" Melody said. "Alright then. Time to fight fire with fire! Go Lopunny!!" Melody threw a pokeball and out came the fluffy lopunny. Melody smirked and touched a stone on her wrist band. Lopunny underwent Mega Evolution.
"Mega Lopunny eh?" Leion was a little surprised. "Doesn't change anything, Cloyster Icicle Spear!" The long sharp shard hit the Lopunny and she collapsed. The crowd was roaring with cheers of the one shot wonder Cloyster.
"Go Snorlax!" Melody said.
"Relying on thick fat are you?" Leion asked.
"If I can get one hit on your Cloyster I win" Melody said.
