"WE DID IT!" Keira yelled coming into the house with Tym.

"What?" Daxter asked pausing our game.

"We have finally fixed up both ships! We can go home during the next thunderstorm!" Tym clarified.

"Which according to the weather forecast, should be in two days around noon!" She said happily. My heart dropped hearing this. I looked to my brother who was looking right back at me mirroring the sad look I was giving him. I got up followed by him and went to his room.

"So it's the final countdown?" He stated.

"Looks like it." I said sitting down on his bed with him.

"Remember that summer all we did was draw, play digimon and build blanket forts?" He asked me.

"Yeah! It was fun as hell! Or that time you go so sunburned you had a puss volcano coming out your shoulder that almost super glued you to the Explorer's seat?" I giggled.

"Or that time you feel in a ditch following me in the dark at that one dudes bondfire?"

"Oh oh ohhh! That time I took you to my prom!"

"Oh god, you don't know how to dance!" He laughed.

"Shove it up yours! I do know how to dance you just have poor tastes!"

"Sure, how about that time you found out your first boyfriend was gay?"

"You promised never to bring that up again!" I glared evilly at him.

"I did? Humm, must of slipped my mind." He shrugged.

"That year I slept in your room cause I was having constant panic attacks."

"That time you sat on me to force me to spend time with you."

"Yeah! We've had a lot of good times, and bad times but we've always been there for each other." I said soberly.

"Yeah, and no matter what I'll always be here for you. Even though you can't see or talk to me, I'll always be here for you. As stupid as that sounds." He said.

"You're right...that does sound stupid." I said laughing lightly. "But seriously though, this sucks. Don't know how many times I've said this but it really does suck!"

"Yeah, but that's okay. You've survived this long without me you can last a little bit longer." He shrugged. "Well, the rest of your life that is...geez that sounded more depressing than it did comforting."

"You think." I frowned.

"Well, we've got two more days so let's make the best of it." He said.

"Well no duh sherlock." I glared at him. We started drawing stuff together while blasting our music. No one dared come in to get us, it was around ten when we came out to eat. We just grabbed a bag of chips and sandwiches before running back to the room. We feel asleep around twelve after playing some Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean machine. He took the next day off of school and hung out with me. Once again we really didn't leave his room except when necessary to do so. Eventually we went to bed in his room. We feel asleep with the T.V. still on.

"Jackie, come on. You should pack up a few things to take with us." Jak said coming into the room.

"What time is it?" My brother asked.

"It's ten. The storm should hit in one hour." He said making me bounce up out of bed. I rushed to my room and started shoving everything I wanted into my old shoulder bag. I took my mp3, the headphones, my folder of really old art. Other then that I really didn't take anything else besides a photo of my friends, brother and mother. I then just stood there at my door looking at my room until Jak came and got me. We all loaded up into the car and drove off. Once we arrived both ships were running ready to take off on a moment's notice.

"Alright guys! Let's get going!" Keira said hopping out going straight for Phoenix's ship. Joseph got out of the ship and walked me over to the Hellcat.

"So...take care of yourself. Don't do stupid shit just cause you're curious. Stay way from tentacle monsters cause you know what they really want." My brother said.

"Oh come on that was one time! Anyways, be good. Don't drive mom up a wall all the time, stay away from sluts. Don't become a slut. Don't get anyone pregnant till your at least twenty." I told him.

"Okay, but I'm not going promise I won't drive mom up the wall." He said.

"Well...I guess this is goodbye then." I said hugging him when I noticed everyone was ready to go. We hugged for what felt like a second before he pulled away from me.

"I love you sissy, goodbye." He said.

"I love you too bubbers, goodbye." I said smiling at him before climbing into the Hellcat. I watched as we lifted up into the air and flew off with Phoenix's ship in hot pursuit. I felt the tears rolling down my face watching my little brother watching the ships. Then, the lightning struck and arched out to the other ship.
