********As we walked into the classroom, hands still held together. I could hear the voices of witnesses outside. They tormented me, they scared me, I knew what was to come and I didn't look forward to it.
Jackson withdrew his hand, the cold embracing it again. He closes the door before shutting the blinds on the door, blocking out the watchers.. Well.. Watching.
"You have a problem." He bluntly says pointing his index finger, with a black ring on it, at me.
"Me? I have a problem?" I sarcastically replied.
I don't need to hear that come from the guy that just walked into the Ladies bathrooms, had a snap off with me, stood up to a witch of a teacher then grabbed my hand walking off like nothing happened on his first day of school.
"Yeah, I've been putting some things together." He reminded me of Sherlock Holmes with this behaviour.
An exasperated sigh leaved my mouth. "What type of things?"
"Well, I'm no detective but seeing everything that happened in class with the tripping, how you sat alone speaking to no one, how you ignored me when I first spoke to you, your body language, just your behaviour in general. I would say.. You're being bulli-"
"No."
"Yes."
"You just got here Jackson." I barely whispered out. "What do you know? You haven't even been here for 4 hours. Who do you think you are!" I hissed, emotion finally taking over.
A tear slid down my right cheek as I said this. I was upset, I had mixed emotions about this guy. I was happy that he noticed me, that he acknowledged me as a human-being but at the same time I hated that he acknowledged me. Over the years isolation has been my best friend.
Isolation was the way I dealed with everything.
"I'm Jackson." The corner of his lip curled. "You're right, I don't know much. I haven't been here for that long. It's really none of my business, but I'm not just gonna leave you alone."
"Why?"
"Because."
"Because? What Jackson."
"Okay Sarah. Listen," He begins to walk towards me, backing me up into the wall. He stops once I am flat against the wall, a large smirk-grin forms on his face as he leans in till he is a couple centimetres from my face.
Minty breath as expected.
"You've sparked my attention. I need someone to hang with, and you're what I'm looking for. I refuse to leave you alone."
"And I refuse your refusal." I interrupt.
"Yeah? Well I refuse your refusal to my refusal."
"Well I-"
"That's it Sarah, that's final. You're not going to refuse my refusal, to your refusal to- wait."
A confused, 'what is the meaning of life', look covers his face. He steps back and squats down with his hands in his hair."I'm so confused! I'm so lost." He mutters.
