Chapter 20.

Valerys Pov:

When i got out the shower, i put blue jeans, white top and dark blue hoodie on. I was sitting on the end of my bed when someone knocked on the door.
"Yea?" I said and the door slowly opened showing Harry, in black skinny jeans and white top and a blue blazer.
"Hey, You coming?" He asked and i shook my head.
"I told you im not" I said and frowned.
"Why are you doing this?" He asked and i looked confused.
"Doing what?" I asked and stepped forward.
"Locking yourself away, thinking about things and not telling anyone!" He said getting frustrated.
"Maybe because no one asked. And Maybe no one will understand!" I said frustrated as well.
"WHY WOULD WE ASK? YOU NEVER TALK TO US ANYMORE?! AND WE KNEW YOU WOULD SAY THAT IT WAS NOTHING IF WE ASKED YOU WHAT YOU WERE THINKING!" Harry shouted. He always scared me when he gets mad. He gets so mad and hardly anyone can calm him down. I use to be able to but if his mad at me i know i cant. But right now, in this moment i werent scared. I wasnt scared of him. I felt angry. I finally felt like standing up for myself.
"ITS NOT LIKE YOU GUYS CARE ABOUT ME! YOU TALK SHIT ABOUT ME BEHIND MY BACK!" I shouted and harry looked taken back. "YES, I HEARD YOU CONVERSATION IN THE KITCHEN!" I shouted and he shook his head.
"We were just saying how worried we were about you" He said more calm.
"THEN WHY DO YOU WANT ME TO COME TO THIS FAIR WITH YOU?!" I shouted frustrated.
"BECAUSE YOU NEED TO GET OUT! STOP HIDING IN YOUR ROOM! WE'RE TRYING TO HELP!" He shouted.
"WHO SAID I NEEDED HELP!?" I shouted.
"I DID!" He shouted.
"WHY?!" I shouted. I didnt care how loud we were being. I didnt care if the boys or Ashley were listening. I dont care about anything at the moment.
"BECAUSE YOU'RE NOT BEING YOURSELF, VALERY!" He shouted.
"HOW WOULD YOU KNOW?!" I shouted
"BECAUSE IVE BEEN YOUR BEST FRIEND FOR YEARS! WE KNOW EVERYTHING ABOUT EACHOTHER. WE USE TO SHARE EVERYTHING WITH EACHOTHER! SECRETS, EVERYTHING! I USE TO BE BY YOUR SIDE TO HELP YOU AND YOU WERE BY MINE!"
"WHO SAID I NEEDED YOU BY MY SIDE ALL THE TIME! MAYBE I CAN FIGHT FOR MYSELF FOR ONCE! MAYBE IM NOT THAT SCARED LITTLE GIRL WHO NEEDS HELP FOR EVERYONE ANYMORE?!" I shouted. By now we were standing so close our noses were nearly touching. Oh how much i want to kiss him right now.
"WHY WONT YOU JUST TELL ME WHAT YOU'VE BEEN THINKING ABOUT!" He shouted and i sighed, here goes nothing.
"FINE! I LOVE YOU! HAPPY NOW! ALL THIS TIME I'VE BEEN THINKING ABOUT MY FEELINGS FOR YOU! THINKING HOW IM NOT GOOD ENOUGH FOR YOU!" I shouted and Harry looked shock. Right now i wasnt controling my action and the next thing i didnt mean to do. I kissed him...

Harrys Pov:

When she shouted that she loved me i froze. I didnt think i would be the reason for her thinking but i was. She thought she wasnt good enough for me. I mean i could never like her. Shes my best friend. She like a sister. Without warning she kissed me. Her lips were soft but it didnt feel right. It felt wrong. Disgusting. I heard a gasp behind me and it pulled me out of my frozen state and pushed Valery away. I looked her and she looked at me and then the floor shocked. I looked behind me and saw Ashley standing there with tears in her eyes. No this cant be happening.
"Ashley?" I whispered as i stepped towards her but she stepped back.
"No" She said and then ran out. I ran after her shouting her name but she was already in her car and off. I felt my heart break. Right then and there i felt it. I went numb. The girl i loved just walked away from me. Without warning. It was all Valerys fault.
