Might as well kiss it all good-bye.
There goes my life.......

"why did you get up? i hate waking up alone." calum yawned walking to the kitchen and plopping down on the stool next to michael. the blonde boy shrugged.

"i tried waking you up and you didn't budge." the raven haired boy lifted up michael's shirt and placed his hands on the swollen belly.

"good morning peanut. we get to see you today." calum whispered.

"and find out if you're a boy or girl." michael said. calum smiled at the blonde before leaning down and kissing his stomach. he gently pulled the shirt back down and looked up at michael.

"i'm so excited." calum said. he clambered off his stool and walked over to the fridge. "what do you want to eat?"

"ummm just a piece of bread with some peanut butter on it please." calum turned and gave michael a soft glare.

"you need to eat more then that." calum stated. "you're gonna eat a banana too." michael rolled his eyes but nodded. calum quickly made michael his food and placed it in front of the blonde. he was right about to sit back down with his cup of coffee when he remembered michael's vitamins and jumped up to go get them.

"cal babe, relax." michael whined when calum returned with the multiple bottles of the prenatal vitamins the doctor had recommended.

"good morning boys." both boys looked up to see karen walk into the kitchen.

"morning mom." michael mumbled. "tell calum to stop harassing me."

"leave calum be mike." she replied. "he's only looking out for you."

"see." calum jabbed. "now hurry up and eat, we have to leave soon."

"you excited?" karen asked pouring herself a cup of coffee. calum nodded.

"way beyond excited." he said smiling. "i'm gonna go get dressed." he grabbed his mug and headed back down into the basement.

"you nervous?" michael nodded.

"a little bit."

"do you want a girl or boy?"

"i don't really care. either way i'm gonna be happy." michael said.

"what about calum?" karen inquired sitting down next to her son.

"he wants a girl desperately."

"michael!" calum yelled from downstairs. "hurry up! you still need to get dressed!" the blonde groaned.

"i'm gonna go before he implodes." karen chuckled and nodded. michael pressed a kiss to her cheek before slowly getting up from the stool and making his way downstairs holding his stomach.

"micha- oh there you are." calum said as michael walked through the door.

"chill the fuck out." michael said pulling off his pajama shirt. he went to walk over to the dresser to grab a clean one but calum grabbed his arm and pulled him back.

"hi." calum whispered.

"hi." calum knelt down and placed his hands on michael's stomach once again. "what are you doing?"

"shh." calum tisked. "i love you little peanut. please be a girl." he pressed a chaste kiss to michael's stomach and let the boy finish getting dressed. calum's excitement built up the whole car ride to the doctor's office and by the time they were sitting for their name to be called he was bouncing in his chair.
