Who Gets Jealous? (Natsu and Lucy FanFiction)

CHAPTER 6- My Name?

Natsu's POV:

I am not irritated by the presence of this man called Sting by Lucy. I just can't explain the feeling I have everytime Lucy treats him special. She never treated me that way. So, why does she treat him that well?

Okay. To be clear here, I'm not jealous, okay? I'm just wondering that Lucy had been closed to other boy, I mean had a real good time together, aside from me? Lucy? Ha! I didn't know. Why you never told me?

"Hey, Natsu!" Happy, my partner, called me out.

"Hmm?"

"What's wrong? You've been quiet and then now you've been staring at Sting and Lucy... It seems to me like you wanna follow their talk there..." he states worriedly.

"And now you're not even taking another bite on your food. Is this actually happening?" he adds.

"Happy, I'm sorry. I don't know. I'm just surprised by the fact that Lucy has another boy-friend, I mean a boy close friend, if you get what I try to point out..."

"Ohhhhhh." He says slyly.

"What?!" I'm curious! "You knew about this, right?"

"Of course, not! Hey! You're jealous! Hmm. Wait! You like Lucy, don't you?" he grins widely. If I don't love him, he's probably dead right now.

"Of course, not! I was just surprised is all..." I defended myself.

But, yeah. Lucy has been close to me, as a friend. Or more than a friend? I don't know! That's just making me feel sick.

Now, Happy and I stare at them outside. He drags Lucy to the ice cream stall. I never knew she liked an ice cream. She never told me, too. I watch them talk and they blush.

"They are so close..." I mutter. "And she doesn't flinch when he's inches away from her..."

"Hey, Natsu. You have to tell Lucy what you exactly feel. You need to be fast if you want to have Lucy."

"Hey! I never told you I want to have her!"

"Then why do you worry that much seeing them happy together? And oh, right! When everyone in the guild praises how they look good together, I saw you frown! I saw how you moved back! Haha! You didn't know, right Natsu?"

I was shocked. I did it? Did I actually frown? I'm dead. I thought nobody have seen it.

"I didn't!" I denied looking away from him.

"You know, Natsu, you can fool everyone. You can act as if you don't care what's gonna happen between those two. You can even tell 'Lucy is my comrade and I am responsible of her that's all' or 'she's my friend and I need to take good care of her'. Deny all you want because you can fool everyone, Natsu. But not me..."

"Happy..."

"So, what? Did I catch you there? Look at me. Let's eat, okay? So that you can think right." I agree.

I nod my head to approve and turn my sight to the food in front of me. Hmm! It smells really good. It even tastes like heaven! Waaaa!

Suddenly, I hear Lucy's voice...screaming? Oh my, God!!! She's in danger! I should have not left her alone again! She's even screaming my name. This is my entire fault!

I run as fast as I could to save Lucy from whatever trap she's been. Yes! She's really beautiful. I will not disagree about that but I don't want to tell her, honestly. I think she will just laugh at me thinking about things like though she visits at my dreams sometimes but anyway....

That's the least reason she always gets on trouble. She used to wear sexy dresses which leave those guys drooling over her. Sometimes I hate to witness such scenes. Those guys are very irritating. Even Lucy. But yeah.. A daughter of Heartfilia. What would I expect?

As I run towards her side, I saw them. The two of them. Sting. Lucy. Them. Lucy on the ground. And Sting on top of her. When I saw what I saw, I feel my feet suddenly stayed and glued to the ground. Do I even have to interrupt what they do?

They kissed.

But she called me. I heard it! It's my name! Does it mean she needs me? Or she just wants to make me realize and see that she likes him more than me? Or she now likes somebody else and she wants to leave me?

Why, Lucy? When Asuka asks us to do that, you didn't like to. What's the problem? Is it because it's me? And I am not Sting? Poor me.

"Come on, Natsu! Don't be so stupid! Look at Lucy! She's not acting right. I know you're shock and frustrated and your mind is full of questions which is unusual but look intently at her!" Happy comes over me and speaks faster than usual.

I stop asking in my mind. I'll reserve them later. I swear, you're gonna answer all of this later, Lucy! First you need to be awake and be with me.

Happy is right! Lucy isn't acting well. She's just staring at Sting and says nothing.

"Oh my, God! I'm sorry, Lucy! I'm sorry! Hey! Do you hear me? Lucy! Answer me!" Stings starts to panic. He moved his body and tries to wake Lucy up. This is all his fault! I shouldn't let Lucy be with him in the first place!

"Hmm..." is all I can hear from her.

"Natsu! This is your chance!" Happy whispers at me. And I saw Sting kisses Lucy's cheeks.

Hey! That's it! That jerk! Trying to molest Lucy! My Lucy...

And just before I realized, Lucy stood up straight and said "It's okay, Sting! It's okay!" and flashes her sweet smile while scratching something on her hair. That jerk is smiling widely again. I wonder if he knows I am seriously controlling my temper here.

But Lucy... Seriously? That idiot is taking advantage of you and now you're saying "it's okay"?

She shifted her gaze to me when I think she heard my footsteps through their way.

"Hi, Natsu? Done eating?" she said like nothing serious happened.

"Actually, not. But technically, you called me out. I mean I heard you called my name and the first thing I did was to leave my food and look for you and check you out." I said boredly.

"Ohhh. Is that so? I'm sorry, Natsu. I just step into a rock. I'm so stupid." she whines.

"Next time, just be careful, okay?

"Okay! Now, you finish your food 'cause it's getting really late in the afternoon and Sting needs to go home before the sun sets." She said.

"Like the hell I care..." I mumble while heading back to the restaurant.

"What did you say?!"

"Aye, sir!" I said scaredly. She's like an Erza number two!
