Who Gets Jealous? (Natsu and Lucy FanFiction)

CHAPTER 2- Interrogation

"Hello! My name is Sting. And I am looking for Lucy. I heard she's here..." Sting humbly introduces himself to Elfman which makes everyone turn to them though everyone is busy.

"Oooh, I see. Yeah, she's here. She's one of our best mages here. Are you one of her suitors? That's manly!" Elfman states.

Lucy walks to him rushly when Natsu comes a second faster than her. It seems like she was taken aback of Natsu's sudden reaction. He comes and stands just right infront of Lucy making her stop. Natsu's acting more like a guard to Lucy.

'This is just Natsu being over protective of me. Not because I am special to him but because we are teammates. Yes. That's it!' Lucy thought.

"Who are you? Where are you from?" Natsu starts to interrogate.

"O-ooh. Natsu. Stop. I'll take care of this." Lucy whispers and steps ahead when Natsu blocks her using his arm.

"No. Stand back. I'll give you my go if it's safe." Natsu secures her.

Lucy cannot do anything. She just nods and stands back as directed. She stares at the boy wondering why he knew him. He really looks familiar to her and it seems like she already knew and met him before. The only thing she cannot remember is when she met him and where was that

A pretty sure thing she can remember is that they had good moments together before. Maybe it was childhood memories? She'll know it later, probably.

"Okay. My name is Sting. Sting Eucliffe. I am from Sabertooth. I don't intend to make fights here, okay? I am really looking for my childhood friend, Lucy."

"Whaaaaat?" Everyone in the guild widen their eyes.

Someone from Sabertooth would even go in another guild just to look for Lucy?

"He-ey! Calm down." Sting says as he rubs his back.

"Now what? Continue. What do you want from Lucy?" Natsu continues.

"Show some respect, at least." Lucy whispers to Natsu again making him smirk. Of course, that's Natsu!

The boy responded immediately that he would like to meet his childhood friend. He shares his stories with Natsu and everyone in the guild that during their childhood days, Lucy always saves Sting's life from bullies in their classes as well as from strangers.

Lucy contemplates and follows Sting's stories without making Sting notice that she is there at that moment listening about every story he brings into that conversation.

The moment they had separate lives is when Sting's parents decided to transfer him to another school, another place. Only Sting can remember this one because of the good deeds that Lucy shared to him.

A girl who laid a hand on a boy being bullied in a school is a different story. Which makes Lucy unforgettable to him.

Now that he is also part of the guild Sabertooth, he looks for Lucy to thank her through actions which he failed to do when they were still together. He wanted her to feel the same way Lucy had felt him before.

He still cares for Lucy and he always wanted to treat Lucy as the most special girl he knew until now. She was also his inspiration for joining his guild and to make Lucy be proud of him that he can already handle himself.

"Is that all?" Natsu asks. He looks down. Lucy questions herself why does Natsu changes his mood over again. First he was happy, then overprotective, then gets serious, then now?

'Natsu is getting weird.' Lucy thought.

"Yes! All my life I wanted to meet her." Sting states.

Sting's heart pumps faster than usual due to excitement knowing he's gonna meet Lucy anytime. Does anyone know that it's not only Sting whose heart beats faster than usual? Does it include Lucy... and Natsu?
