(AN: CAUTION: SPOILER ALERT FOR THE MOVIE INDIGENOUS)
"AHHHHHH!!!!!" We both scream at the tops of our lungs when the chupacabra pops up behind Scott, the main character of the movie we are watching.
"I cannot believe that just happened!" I exclaim and clutch my blanket as he runs out of the creatures cave with the monster behind him.
"Well, I mean what do you expect? It's called a scary movie for a reason." Kayla laughs at me having gotten over her fright.
"Why did I ever agree to watch this movie with you?" I question as Scott and his girlfriend, along with some other girl, run through the jungle.
"Maybe because it's not actually that scary. I mean the name isn't even scary, it's called Indigenous for goodness sakes. " she replies and I sigh before squeaking when the bushes rustle on the movie.
" I'm going to go make some more popcorn! " I screech when the Chupacabra pops out once again.
I run to her kitchen, but when I see the light is off I change my mind.
" Nevermind that, I can do without popcorn... " I back away slowly fearing a monster will pop out at me.
And this is the reason I hate scary movies, they make me paranoid.
If Shawn were here it would be a different story, I'd fix that popcorn in the middle of the night in the depths of the jungle if I were with him, he makes me feel like I can do anything around him, he makes me feel...safe.
"Your such a chicken." Kayla chuckles before getting up and fixing the popcorn herself.
"Okay, but don't come running to me when a monster jumps out and eats you alive!" I call after her as I sit down on the couch.
It doesn't take me long to get back into the movie and soon I forget completely about the popcorn.
I yell at Scott to just leave his girlfriend because there is no way he's going to make it while carrying her on his back.
"Run!!! JUST- AHHHHHH!! " I screech when Kayla jumps at me from behind.
" What was that for?!?" I exclaim as she sits back down with the popcorn."For telling the guy to just leave his girlfriend to die! And I thought you had the biggest heart of anyone I know. " she explains and I chuckle.
"I'm just saying, there is no need for both of them to die when one of them could live." I reason and she sighs while shaking her head.
"If you say so."

We finished two more movies after Indigenous before deciding to go to sleep, now it's eleven o'clock in the morning and I am getting ready to leave.
"Wake up Kayla!" I shake her shoulder until she opens my eyes.
"C'mon you've gotta drive me home." I tell her and she groans in annoyance.
"You really need to go get your license. " She sits up and rubs her eyes.
I grab the rest of my things and toss her the jeeps keys.
"Chop, chop. Let's go." I exclaim when she gets up at the speed of a snail.
"You sound like my mother. " She chuckles and I glare at her before we both walk out the door.
I toss my stuff in the back before strapping myself in.
"Let's go see Bae then." She teases and I groan.
"Shut your face and drive." I demand and she chuckles.
"Yes, Mother. " she retorts.
I just ignore her and pull out my phone to text Shawn.
I see a bunch of nonsense things that he must have sent last night, but after reading just one of the messages I can tell that the guys must have stolen his phone.
I chuckle before starting to type.
On my way, be there in a few minutes.
It doesn't take him long to reply because soon my phone buzzes and flashes text from The Muffin Man
Okay see you soon, and would it be possible for you to just delete the texts from last night without looking at them?
Sure.
I delete the texts and stick my phone in my pocket as we pull into my driveway. I say goodbye to Kayla before grabbing my things and going inside.
"Finally! Shawn's been freaking out. " Aliyah surprises me when I walk into my house.
I give her a questioning look and she just points behind her to a boy on the couch and walks out the door.
He looks stressed.
"So did you have fun with the guys last night?" I question and his head pops up from where he had his face buried in his hands.
"Wha-uh-y-yeah totally, say why don't you give me your phone so you can go pack..." he suggests suspiciously and I raise an eyebrow.
"No that's okay, I can pack with it in my pocket. " I wink at him before jogging up the stairs to get my bag ready.
I go to my room and pull a suitcase out of my closet, when I look out Shawn is looking through the clothes in my dresser and tossing me the ones he likes.
"How long are we staying?" I question once we are half way done.
"A week, maybe two, it depends." he states and my eyebrows shoot up.
I thought it was just for the weekend.
"Oh, cool. " I smile and he goes to grab my toothbrush, toothpaste and my soaps from the bathroom.
I stare at him quizzically as he rushes around my room packing my things like this is his room and not mine.
"What's gotten into you?" I question, handing him separate plastic bags for the soaps and the toothbrush.
"Nothing. Nothing at all. You know John right?" He asks me hesitantly and I make a puzzled face.
"Yeah, he's your bodyguard...Why?" I ask him and he stops packing.
"Cause he's gotta go with us if we're gonna go." he tells me looking down to the ground.
"That's-" I start but he cuts me off.
"Don't worry, he will keep his distance and everything. It'll be like he isn't even there." he rushes and I chuckle.
"Yeah, it's fine I completely understand, you're famous now. Just a small price I have to pay to have you as my best friend. " I assure him and he frowns.
"It's not just that, they scheduled a show last minute." he winces as my face falls drastically.
"Okay, uh, so I guess we have to wait till next year then..." I turn around and start unpacking my bag so he can't see my eyes water.
"Woah, no. We're still going, we'll just have to put our trip on pause for the day of the show, the rest will be as planned." he turns me to face him and I smile weakly.
"I know how you are about this type of thing, we can just call it off and do it some other time. It's not like I wanted to go anyways."
