The end came like a wildfire.

US President Gerald Ford took office once former President Richard "Tricky Dicky" Nixon's noxious reign in the White House ended after less than two terms in Office.

And, as the ongoing stain of political damage increased the heat, voters rallied to make sure that the landscape of liberty, justice, and the American way, wouldn't be savaged by revengeful Presidents whose own grudges against the Camelot family of the Kennedys, anymore.

Leslie Lynch King, Jr. was born mid way through WWI. He lived in Omaha, Nebraska. The address was 3202 Woolwich Avenue.

His Mother was Dorothy Ayer Gardner King Ford, (February 27, 1892 - September 17, 1967); his Father was Leslie Lynch King, Sr., (July 25, 1884 — February 18, 1941).

Ford's Grandfather was banker  Charles Henry King, (March 12, 1853 - February 27, 1930). Despite the marriage, Dorothy filed for divorce. 

She headed to Grand Rapids in Michigan...and stayed there for awhile with family. Then, on February 1, 1916, she married Gerald Rudolff Ford, (December 9, 1890 – January 26, 1962); Leslie then changed his name to 'Gerald Ford', and was accepted by everyone after that.

The date was: December 3, 1935.

Gerald Ford's half brother  Thomas Gardner Ford, Sr., (July 15, 1918 – August 28, 1995), served in WWII; Ford was a politician from 1964-72.

Gerald Ford played football in the early to mid 1930's. He was so good as a quaterback, that he recieved praise from his coaches.

After his career ended, he became an Eagle Scout. After several careers, Ford changed course and entered the battlefield of US politics. And, by doing so, hoped to reinvigorate the US politcal landscape post-Watergate in the mid-to-late 1970's.
