I was woken up by banging on my door.

Trey: what the fuck.

I looked over at the alarm clock next to the bed it was 4:00 in the morning. Who the hell is at my door at this time? Must be the wrong door. Maybe they'll go away. The banging only got louder and louder so I decided to get up and see who was it.

Trey: hold up!

I yelled getting out of bed. Who ever it is better have a good ass excuse for banging on my door like they crazy or im blowing someone's head off.I got to the door and to my surprise when I opened it there stood Nadia.

Trey:nadia what you doing here?

I asked confused. She stood there in some pajama shorts and a tank top.

Nadia: c-can I come inside its kinda cold out here

Trey: yeah im sorry.

I moved over and let her in. She walked right to the living room and put her face in her plams.

Trey: nadia are you ok?

I sat next to her confused there wasnt even the word to describe how I was feeling right now. Nadia looked up at me and then it hit me. He hit her. She had a bruise under her left eye and her cheek looked a little swollen. She just looked at me and began crying.

Nadia:he hit me again Chris.

I couldn't do or say anything right now. I just held her in my arms.

Nadia: I can't go back to him trey

Trey: nadia you know Chris loves you he-

Nadia:no he doesn't....if he did he wouldn't hit me

I sighed. I couldn't argue with her she was right.

Nadia:can I stay here Trey

Her hazel eyes pierces through the side of my face. I dont know how Chris is gonna feel about this one.

Trey: I dont know Nadia-

Nadia: its fine ill just go.

She got up from the couch and headed towards the door. I couldn't just let leave like that. Where was she gonna go? She came to me for help anni couldn't just turn her down like that thats not right.

Trey: wait nadia you can stay the night .

Nadia: you sure I dont want to get you in trouble

I chuckled a little at her comment. Nadia is a trip.

Trey: nah lets go you look like you need to rest.

I grabbed her hand and lead her up the stairs to my room.

Trey: so make yourself comfortable.ill downstairs if you need me.

I grabbed a pillow and a blanket from the closet and headed downstairs.

Nadia: wait trey can sleep downstairs.

Trey:nah its all good I dont mind.

With that I made my way downstairs. The couch would be my bed tonight. I set my pillow down and got comfortable. I couldn't sleep anymore. Not with Nadia is my room all bruised up. I turned on the tv and started watching cartoons. Until I heard footsteps.

Nadia: trey I can't sleep knowing i kicked you out your own bed.

She said walking up to me. I laughed.

Trey: dont worry its no my first time. Go to bed.

Nadia: come sleep upstairs with me your room is mad creepy

I just looked at her and laughed.

Trey: ugh fine

Nadia: no funny business I promise.

She laughed and ran up the stairs. I sighed and grabbed my pillow and blanket off the couch. She was already in bed . I chuckled and got in too.

Nadia: goodnight trey

She siad facing me.

Trey: goodnight beautiful.

this was crazy. The only time I layed in bed with any female was if we were fucking. And this isn't the case at all. She's my best friend wife for crying out loud I had too much respect for chris to mess around with his girl. And it wants like nadia would let anything happen. I turned away from Nadia before i could get any ideas. Chris needs to get his shit together cause Nadia seems fed up now. I've never seen her this hurt.
