The Colony

You hold in a scream as you and Leo fall. You bury your head in his chest and his arms tighten around you. When you land Leo's legs give way and you fall out of his grasp. "Argh...shit." You look over to him and you can see the pain on his face. You crawl over to him and put your hands on his cheek, "Leo! Are you OK?"

Two of the others land beside you and rush over to him. They go to help him up but he bats their hands away. He shifts and shifts back multiple times. One of the others helps you up, "Is he gonna be OK?" You cringe and the worry in your voice but he doesn't seem to notice and nods.

Leo moves closer to you and stands up, "hey, im so sorr-"
"Shh..." You put your hand over his mouth. "I'm OK." He gives you a concerned look and you nod. You go to turn around and something heavy lands on top of you pinning you to the floor and crawling off you. "Hey! That was my head!" They pick you up and help you stand, "Sorry, Kitty."

"Jakey!" You hit his arm, "Look before you jump!" He gives a fake pout, "Owwwwww!" Leo puts a hand on your back, "Are you OK?" You nod and give a small smile, "Even after this dick decided to jump on you?"

"Hey! That's not very nice! I'm warning you I will-"
You put a hand over his mouth. "Jakey, he does have a point." You take your hand away and he scowls.

Leo and the others shift, along with Jacob, and your the only one who hasn't. You stand awkwardly as they all give you funny looks and you look down. Leo and Jacob shift back and Leo approaches you. "Are you OK?"

You nod. "Yeah its just..... that I've only shifted like....twice." He gives you a concerned look and Jacob wraps his arms around you protectively, "You know what to do." You look at him remembering what he said. "I just think of something and get lost in it."

You stand on tiptoe and kiss him passionately. He chuckles and shifts at the same time as you and you roll over, him on top of you and his wide eyes glaring at you. Leo gives a grumble. "Come on you two."

All seven of you arrive at the park which is about a half an hour walk from your house, although being a leopard it took only half the time. there are three other leopards there that seem to be waiting for you. As you approach they look your way and they seem slightly friendly. The biggest of them walks towards you and Jacob leans against you in reassurance.

"Welcome." The leader was female. She glanced at Leo, "I thought we were only having one addition?" He stepped forward with slight hesitation, "Yeah mother....erm...that was the original plan but-" He was cut off by a growl, from a slightly smaller male. "You know we dont take outsiders." and he gives Jacob a blank stare.

You step forward,growling, "You want me in you Colony, yes?" He steps up to you, face-to-face, your eyes level. "Y-yes." You step closer to him, your foreheads touching and growl, "Well if you want me, you have to have him too." He steps back and sighs, "Mother?" She steps forward, "Fine but he must live up to our expectations."

Leo moves between you and her, "You still havent introduced everyone."
Everyone shifts into their human forms and you gasp. You recognise two of them as Lucas; the most popular boy in your year at school, and Jason; the most annoying boy in your year. You look over to Leo's mam and you dont recognise her. She steps towards you and puts her hand out and you shake it. "Im Jessica but i prefer Jess." You nod, "Im-"

Leo buts in, "Call her Kitty." He looks at you and winks. Jacob goes to lunge in his direction but you put your paw out to stop him. Leo turns to him and gives him a smirk. Lucas pipes in, "Why do i feel some tension here?" You look at his with a chuckle, "Oh so your not as dumb as you play out to be." A smile forms on his face and he tries to hide it. You turn to Jess, "My name is Y/N but my friends call me Jade because of my eyes."

She looks at you with a satisfied smile, "Thats very creative, but whats wrong with Kitty?" You blush slightly, "Thats Jakey's nickname for me, only he calls me it." She nods, "And Jakey is your nickname for him, am i right?" You nod in agreement.

The 4 whos names you dont know introduce themselves. James, Jackson, Lee and Lewis.

Jess stands on top of a big rock, towering over the rest of you, "Ok everyone, we all know each other now so around school you guys look out for each other and take care of each other however, dont make it obvious that your sticking together. Dont start fights with each other or anyone else for that matter. Anyone sees anyone else here fighting stop them, see you all tomorrow night."
And with that she shifts and leaves.

Leo walks over to you and puts his arm around you, "Want me to walk you home?" He gives you a hopeful look and you lock gazes. Jacob pushes Leo away from you and he trip over, "I'LL be walking her home." Leo stands up giving Jacob a fowl look. "Woah, i was just being friendly." Jacob fake laughs, "Friendly? Your just trying to get between us!" Leo approaches you and smirks, "Theres nothing going on between you two." Jacob stands infront of you so Leo can't get to you. "You have no idea!"
Leo laughs, "Your not dating, are you?
Jacob loses it completely, grabbing Leo by the color of his top.

You push Jacob lightly, "Jakey..." His grip weakness slightly. You secretly grin, knowing your nickname for him has a huge affect on him. "Jakey... You know what Jess said. No fighting." You know hes listening but hes not moving. A smile forms on Leo's face. You put on a sweet voice, "Jakey...please."

He lets go of Leos top who falls on the floor and turns to you, pointing a finger at you, "Just this time." He gives Leo a dirty look before picking you up and carrying you home.
