Walking into the hall, Beverly saw Logan talking to Juliette at the front of the frosted doors. Logan's eyebrows were furrowed with concern as Juliette talked in a barely audible voice. Beverly turned around the corner and minded her own business. Why did she deserve to know about others? It didn't really affect her but as soon as she heard her own name ; startled she stopped and turned.

"Morning!"Julius caught up with her as they walked behind drama. Beverly walked quickly, that was normal but Julius found it very difficult to keep up. "Morning Julius."she replied as she brushed her fingers against the thick, waxy leaves on the sides. "So what did you do yesterday?"he asked as he scrolled on his phone. "Nothing much. You know i don't do a lot... What about you" she ruled out her daily routine to Julius. He always asked the same question, but Beverly never knew why. What difference did it make really? "Oh went out for dinner and theatre school."he casually announced as he started to jog to the bench.

"Morning. Guten morning" Beverly beamed at the people on the bench. Adlynn, Edith, Juliette, Blair and Ralph all sat or crowded round the bench. Ralph approached Beverly tapping her on her shoulder as he sang lyrics to Melanie Martinez songs. "Places, places. Get in your places... Um..."Ralph sang but silence rang in between as he searched for the right words. "Throw on your dress and put on your doll faces..." Beverly continued for him and he smiled. He continued to interrupt others and their conversations to the point where Blair got steamed. "Go away Ralph!!!"she urged while she tapped on her phone, looking for a video on Youtube. Meanwhile the tensions were raised on one side , Christopher had arrived.

His light chestnut hair slightly wet at the tips, he ruffled it and then stated "I didn't do anything to my hair today, just jumped out of the shower!" Adlynn and Edith giggled and Christopher exchanged hugs. Beverly stood and watched them greet each other. "Hey Christopher. Hair on FLEEK!" Beverly cheered and the atmosphere lingered of pure awkwardness. Marcus appeared, headphones plugged in and his deep navy body warmer hugging his sides tightly. Marcus laughed and then embraced with Christopher. Marcus ran his fingers through his silky, jet black hair and headed over to Blair.
Blair was watching a video with a youtuber Beverly had recognised. They joined in the small crowd around Blairs white samsung and watched in silence. Juliette, Blair and Beverly chuckled as the youtuber did idiotic jokes.

Again, everyone separated and Beverly walked with Julius to their form room. Logan was in there already and Beverly smiled at him. His eyebrows raised and he looked at his watch. Beverly looked inside and the cleaner was cleaning. Mr. Maxwell always encouraged her to go in but it was disrespectful and morally wrong. Instead she talked to Ashley who was texting her friends on her phone. "How was your concert" Beverly questioned Ashley expecting no answer at all. "Great, we got good views"Ashley replied but her voice drawled slowly and her accent wobbled. She loomed through the glass and suddenly she jumped backwards. "Oh my gosh .. He was about to open the door"she giggled and Ruby giggled too taking a break from her screen. They all entered and took their seats.

Beverly sat in the middle of Christopher and Julius but she stood up and exclaimed "i'm getting a tissue" she pulled the box and the last tissue came into her grip. She wiped her nose and dropped it into the bin. Just as she was about to sit down Mr. Maxwell caught her. "Beverly can you do me a favour , can you please get me a box of tissues from student services" his eyes enlarged and dilated as he set her a task. His eyes had a tendency to bulge out, Beverly thought that if you surprised him enough his eyes might just pop out. She noticed that he had finished talking and she quickly replied "yeah sure..". She headed to the door and opened it but the door flew backwards and Heather stood with Millie and Maya. They pushed past and sat in their chairs, barely removing their eyes from their screens. Beverly walked out and heard Mr. Maxwell shout "phones away".
She entered the student services building and waited behind a queue of Year eights. When they had finished she politely asked "please may i have a box of tissues". The lady behind he glass passed the tissue box and smiled. It almost seemed as if she thought it was for her. The school staff probably knew her phone number of by heart for how many problems she had!

Beverly walked across the deserted  school ground where Christopher and Skye were waving frantically at her. Maniacs. Maniacs but she loved them both. She rushed over to her form room and returned the wave as she entered. She tossed the box at Mr. Maxwell and he smiled. He then explained "so many people cry when they come in here". This pointless piece of information left her clinging on for an answer. What did he mean cry? And why did he need a new box when he had one in his office?

Beverly returned to her seat and a form time of    glances and silence, it had finally ended. She picked up her bag and once more again Beverly lived this day. Day in and out. No difference.
Maths.
She sat down on the blue chair that was graffitied and gummed to the edge. Pulled out her book, underlined , wrote and labeled. Waiting for the class to pour in as they took their time chatting away into the precious minutes of the lesson. "Ok everyone, 5 questions do them." Miss Wren shouted but her voice was firm not angry. Beverly jotted the questions down and got ahead with her work while the others finished their conversations and unloaded their bags.

Beverly finished the questions and watched as time ran past on the clock above. Her eyes closed gently each time and the buzz of the classroom faded.
