Later that day the sky darkened and the street lamps lit up. Everyone was busy and doing their own things.Beverly however had something else on her mind. Madison wasn't, around the day before so Beverly decide to text her. They had a quick chat and Beverly said her goodbye. Beverly also bothered a few other people such as Logan and Julius. They all had quick conversations some lasting longer than others. Beverly switched off her phone and opened her laptop. Typing quickly, the password for her tumblr account lay on her bedside. She typed it in and then she closed her eyes. The light from the screen burned her eyes, her pupils constricted as the horrid result flashed on the screen. Suddenly, her eyes were brimming again but she was alone there was no need to hold it in.
Chest rising and falling irregularly, her throat choked on all of the tears that were running down her face. She had that sort of sadness which had anger. Slamming her hands against the white wallpaper, purple tears ran down her face.Wiping her eyes she looked at her result and knew that it wasn't good enough. Her feed was a dull black and white, quotes lined the page. Looking at each of them, she forced her mind to relate to it. It was awful. A child whinging, crying over a pathetic personality test. But it was more than that.
Laptop abandoned on the side she closed her eyes, tightly shut and forgot it all. Buzzing filled the room, a fuzzy image formed in her head. Turquoise waters lapped, each forming frothy peaks then flattening out again. But this time it wasn't the swimming pool, it was the horizon of the lone sea. Empty. Alone. The same hand, floated above the water and the figure was more clear now.
Because she was underneath with the person. She saw the girl, eyes wide shut. There was no cry for help, no lachrymal distress. No fight. It was so still down here, the waves seemed to weaken as they reached the sea bed. Each one died and floated to the surface to reincarnate. They did just so but they lived again, these waves, in the restless corpse of themselves. She noticed that she sunk, and her curled body was held by a rusty anchor. It dragged her down, tied with ball and chain. A prisoner to the flow. The surface was the bars and dark sea bed the cell. This girl looked familiar, so Beverly dived down into the depths of the caliginous sea. She pulled the girl's long arm and pulled. The leg pushed Beverly's arm down, an abundant amount of weight on her. Beverly tried swimming deeper, lungs aflame she pulled again. Pushing against her own will her mind throbbed, muscles tearing away. She lifted the girl's torso. Her face turned away. Beverly twisted her heavy body and moved the long strands of platinum strands away. Her head fragile and Beverly gaped.
Gasping for air Beverly sat up in her bed, she looked around the room. Her heart violently hammered against her chest, blood pumping and head clammed with sweat. Hyperventilating she jumped off the side of her bed and glanced in the mirror. Pacing around the room occasionally glancing at the mirror as she tried to sort the events of the dream she saw in her mind. "I..-I.. Can't be. I can't be"she trembled as her bottom lip quivered and he reflection did so too. She looked into the mirror, touching her face and staring from different angles. "It's ... Going to..I can't.. Help.. Her"she huffed and sat down. Thoughts gushed from her head and it obviously was struggling as it pulsated. A vein appeared on her head. "It can't have been a dream...I mean..I"she shouted at herself. Was she going insane? She lay on the floor the carpet scratching her skin as each bristle brushed against her body. Looking up, she closed her eyes and tried to sleep.
