5 Months Later
"Harry Styles, I will not sit here and watch you waste away your life anymore. get up, lazy ass." Louis threw a pillow at my head, and I groaned.
"fine. where to?" I grab my keys off of the table, the same place I sat them down five months ago. Louis beamed and raced out of my room and to my car. I chuckled to myself; but it wasn't a real laugh. "Mum, I'm going out. love you." she appeared from the kitchen with a beam on her face. I rolled my eyes. "yeah I know, Louis is making me."
I jog outside, and look at my Tahoe sitting in the driveway. my stomach churns. "um.. I.. I can't do this." I swallow down the knot forming in my throat, and start walking down the sidewalk. Louis screams my name, but I don't turn back around. too many memories from that car, damn it.
my tan boots clammer loudly, and I pull my brown curls out of my eyes.
"Harry, what the hell?" Louis breaths came quickly, he must've ran after me. "are you alright mate?" I nod, and look down at my shoes.
"I don't want to talk about it, alright? let's go to the pub. please." Louis nods, and we make the block to the biggest pub in London.
a small girl with long brown hair and brown eyes walks towards us, and I freeze. she looks so much like Christine. Louis slaps my arm, but I stay still. she's beautiful, her smile is warm and charming. "Louis, she looks like Christine." he looks over at the girls strolling by, and he nods.
"yeah, man. she does. go after her." I shake my head. "man, you're missing out on a hot girl. if you don't go get her, I will." I chuckle, and walk swiftly to meet her.
"hi, I'm Harry." I give her the best smile I can manage, and I guess it was alright. her cheeks rose in red flames, and her smile lit up. "Carmen." Carmen. what an unforgettable name.
"are you from around here?" I ask kindly. her cheeks fire red again, and she nods. "yeah, I moved here five months ago out of college." I freeze. five months ago? I nod swiftly, and don't hesitate on my next question.
"you want to join my friend and I in the pub?" Carmen stares at me with curiosity, but nods. "sure. let's do it."
