Because I've been inactive for so long, I don't think anyone even needs me to say this, but I just wanted to clear the air and say that I won't be continuing on with this story.

It took me so long to finally declare this story dead because, for the longest time, it's played such a huge role in my life. I used to be so excited logging into Wattpad and writing a chapter or reading everyone's comments. Even though I knew I wasn't satisfied with this story for a very long time, I knew letting go of it and the memories associated with it would be very difficult.

I actually had a chapter similar to this one written about two years ago but I just couldn't press publish. A small part of my brain (and heart) thought (and hoped) that one day I would pick up this story again. But I've finally come to terms with the fact that I can't continue writing something I'm not completely proud of.

I first started writing this story when I was 13, and to say I was shocked at its popularity would be a complete understatement. I never expected anyone to read this story, no less over 15 thousand (amazing!) people.

I think that it's safe to say that, 4 years later, a lot has changed. When I first started writing this story I was in 7th grade, and now I'm turning 17 in a few days and am almost a senior in high school. I had a lot of cool ideas for this story when I started, but because of a lack of planning, it quickly started straying away from its original intent.

I feel like, in these 4 years, I've grown both as a person and a writer. And my passion for writing has, if anything, only grown with me.

I've come back on here because I do want to continue writing. Although I wouldn't consider myself as big of a fan as I was at 13, I do still enjoy 5sos and the community here on Wattpad.

So, if you guys would be interested in reading more, I might start writing more fanfics and maybe some original stories. I've even considered rewriting this story (that is, if anyone would actually consider reading a rewrite)
