Lisa's pov
Taehyung's car came to a halt in front of a cottage. It was small, but looked cozy with turquoise paint. I have no idea where we were now, but for sure not in Seoul.
"Welcome to Daegu, Lisa. This is my hometown. And this is my grandma's house. Come in." Taehyung's explaination cleared up my thought.
"Is your grandma inside?" I asked as he opened the door. He halted before replying.
"No. She hmm passed away."
"I'm so sorry, Tae." I felt guilty.
"No, it's okay." He assured me.
We entered the house and I started to examine the surrounding. There were few sets of furniture, the modest one. Few pictures hanging on the wall, mostly Taehyung and an elderly woman. Taehyung told me to sit on the couch, caught me off my trance.
"We'll stay here for tonight. Tell your parents you're not going back."
'WHAT?! Why you didn't tell me earlier? I don't have extra clothes."
"Don't worry. I have some clothes in my close here. You can,hmm wore them."
I was dumbfounded. Taehyung was full of surprised. And his middle name now is unpredictable.
"Oh. But, wh-what should I say to my parents? I'm going to stay in a house in the middle of nowhere? With a man?"
I have no idea where that came from but somehow I felt a tingling sensation imagining it. He took a seat beside me and took my hand.
"Lisa, I'm sorry for bringing you here. Whenever I'm in a mess, I will go here."
My heart melt seeing him like this. I could see sorrow in Taehyung's eyes. He was so different today. Instead of being silly and cheerful, he was in despair and gloomy.
"You wanna talk about it?" I asked hesitantly.
"Later, Lisa. For now, go take a shower."
Afterwards, I took a shower and take a look at the clothes Taehyung bought for me. It was a sweater. A large size sweater. But it was comfy. And it has his smell. I like it. Fortunately, the sweatpants fitted me well.
I went to the living room, and Taehyung was there watching TV. I approached him and sat not so far from him, feeling absolutely awkward with the situations.
"Just in time, Lisa. A horror movie is about to start.” He said, while eating popcorn.
The movie started, but I was clearly not drawn into it.
While eating popcorn, I stole glances looking at him. Few minutes later, he turned the TV off. I jolted in surprised and stared at him in bewilderment.
"You keep on looking me."
Shit, he got me.
"Come sit here,” he patted on the couch beside him. I followed his command.
"Spare me your thoughts, Lisa." He said as he looked me in the eyes.
I took a deep breath before pouring out my thought.
"Why you never tell me about your parents or your family? And why did you pissed off earlier?"
It took a few seconds before he started talking.
"My dad and I are not in a good term. Since my mom left us, I live with my grandma because my dad is a workaholic. I grew up liking music, just like my grandma. So, I decided to become an idol. However, my dad didn't approve it because he wanted me to run the company later. I insisted with my choice and he was damn furious about it. He messed thing up whenever I went to audition, so I wouldn't be accepted. Until now, I still couldn’t believe he dared to do that. Fortunately, I managed to become the last member of BTS. My dad still made attempts to console me but to no avail. He made me hate him."
His eyes became teary remembering it, but he continued anyway.
"My grandma was my only strength. She showered me with her love and support. Since her death which was two years ago, I was so distressed and in despair I almost relinquish. Favorably, the other members became my backbone and I know I have to be fervent for her."
He paused for a brief moments. He closed his eyes, opened, and then carried on.
"And while I was still vulnerable, I found you, Lisa."
The atmosphere suddenly became tense.
A/n: Opps. Is Taehyung going to confess now? Idk hehe
