Pastel And Perfect

I woke and remember that today, me and Alix would be having our lunch date today. I learned how to spell his name so that I didn't get him and the other one mixed up. I got excited and jumped out of bed. I threw on the nicest clothes I could find and ran down to the kitchen.

"Someone is happy", my mom said. "Is it that obvious?", I asked. "Very", a deep tired voice said. Skyler walked past me and grabbed a cup from the cabinet. "Whoa! Someone sleep terribly", I said. "Shut up ok", Sky said.

I put my hands up in defence and backed up from my brother. "Alright you two, play nice and have fun", my mom said. "Always do!", I chirped.

"Hello!", a female voice said. Emma walked in smiling as big as I was. "Friend!!!", I yelled and hugged her. "Alright, let's eat. I'm hungry", Emma said and we sat down.

After eating breakfast, Sky drove us to school. "You excited?", Emma asked as we walked in. "Very! U can't wait for lunch!!", I said, almost squealing. "Ok, calm down", Sky said. Me and Emma laughed and we walked to our lockers.

Our lockers in order where Sky, mine, and Emma's. Right next to each other too! "I can't wait!", I squealed. "You seem happy", a voice said. I turned to see Alix standing there. I smiled at him and took out my sketch book.

"I'll see you at lunch", he said. He ruffled my hair and left. "I ship it", Emma said. "Of course you do", I said. We parted ways and I headed into art.

~Lunch~

I walked down to the lunchroom and looked for Alix. "I'm right here", a voice said scaring me. "Don't do that!", I yelled and lightly hit his arm. He laughed and might I say, he had an awesome laugh. "I'm sorry. Common. Let's go", he said.

We walked out to the parking lot and walked over to his car. We passed by Amy and Alex and I saw them having a heavy make out session. I turned back to Alix and got in his car. "Where do you want to go?", Alix asked. "Anywhere is fine", I replied. "Dance and Shake it is", Alix said.

I smiled as Alix drove out the school parking lot and down the street to Dance and Shake. Alix parked and we got out. Alix grabbed my hand, making me blush and we walked in.

We walked to a table and sat down. A waiter came by and asked us what we wanted. We told him and he left to get our food.

"So, tell me", Alix said. "Tell you what?", I asked. "Tell me about yourself", Alix replied. "Well, my family is made up of me, Sky and our mom. Dad left when I was young. I'm gay, probably knew that already, I love music, art and nice people. I am 5'7 and growing. And I think the last thing you need to know is that I can be a 5 year old at times", I replied with a smile. "Now tell me about you", I said.

"Well, my family is made up of me, my twin brothers and my younger sister. Me being the oldest. My favorite color is blue, I support people like you, I am 5'9. I like art as well. I play some sports and like some sports. And lastly, I am very easy at getting excited", Alix said. I smiled at his answer. He seemed so perfect for me! I just know we are going to become something.

Our food came and we ate, mostly in silence but Alix will kick me every now and then and make a funny face. We soon finished our food and headed back to school. "So tell me", Alix started as we walked in. "What happened to you and Alex?", he asked. "Well, I guess we just weren't ment to be", I replied. "Ahh! Well, I'll see you later", he said. I nodded and we walked our separated ways. What a wonderful date.
