Pastel And Perfect

Tyler
I walked into school and heard people yelling fight. I ran to the crowd of people and saw Skyler and some jock fighting. The jock punched Skyler making blood drip from his mouth. Skyler punched the jock in the jaw getting a kick in return.

"Hey! Stop!", I yelled.

I pushed past the people and tried to stop Sky. I got punched by the jock.

"Tyler!", Sky yelled.

He knelt down and helped me back up.

"You ok?", Sky asked. "Yeah. Im ok", I replied.

The jock left and we never saw him for the rest of the day. Lunch came around. Me and Emma walked into the lunchroom and sat with Sky.

"Why where you fighting this morning? Who was that?", I asked. "He was saying some shit about you", Sky replied. "And you beat him up?", Emma asked. "Yeah", Sky replied a bit coldly.

Alex walked over and set next to me giving me a kiss on the head. I smiled.

"What was that fight between you and Kevin about?", Alex asked. "He was saying bad things about Tyler", Sky replied. "WHAT!", Alex yelled. "Please don't do anything. Sky already did enough", I said.

I held on to Alex's arm trying to calm him down. Alex calmed down. He looked over at me and smiled. I smiled back.

"I dont want anyone talking shit about you", Alex said. "Well I'm sorry I like pastel", I said.

Alex laughed and kissed my forehead. The bell rang.

"Ugh!", Emma groaned.

I laughed. We got up and headed to class. Class was slow and terribly boring. Soon me and Emma headed to gym. Alex was helping the couches with something for the game tonight. Coach told us to leave our stuff and walk track. Me and Emma walked outside. I got pulled back and it scared me. It was Alex's old friends.

"How dare you turn Alex gay", one said. "I-" "Shut up freak!", anther said.

I gulped and curled up trying to hide. Emma was swepped away by the crowd of people going down to the track, Alex was helping the coaches, and there was no way Sky was going to be around. They all smiled knowing no one was around to help.

Emma
"Tyler?", I asked.

I looked around. The pastel prince was no where to be seen. I walked the track one looking for him but I didn't see him. Coach yelled something about a code blue making me scared. I saw Alex. I ran up to him scared.

"Where is Tyler?", I asked. "I don't know", Alex replied. "You don't think the code blue is for him do you?", I asked. "I hope not", Alex replied.

Paramedics came in and put a kid on a stretch. I looked closely and saw it was Tyler. I was about to run over but they where already gone out the door.

"That was Tyler! Alex, Tyler is in the hospital again!", I yelled at him. "What happened!", Alex asked. "I dont know! I lost him on our way to track", I replied.

I felt a tear roll down my cheek. Alex hugged me telling me Tyler would be alright. But we both know something is wrong. We walked to the parking lot to Skyler's car.

"Where is Tyler?", Sky asked. "The code blue", I replied.

Terror spred across Skyler's face.

"What happened?", Sky asked. "I don't know I lost him on our way to track", I replied. "And i was helping the coaches with the game for tonight", Alex replied. "Shit! Get in the car Emma. Well meet you there", Sky said.

Alex nodded and ran to his motorcycle. I got in Sky's car. A tear rolled down my cheek again. Sky rushed to the hospital. We sat down waiting. Alex soon came in. Sky called their mom. She came in and was tearing up just like me.

Tyler
"Tyler!", Sky yelled laughing. I slipped on the icy snow. "Ow!", I cried. "You ok?", Sky asked.

I nodded and he helped me back up. Our mom came out, holding on to the railing of the steps.

"You two ok?", She asked. "Yes", Sky said. "Becareful", she said and walked back inside.

Our dad walked out smiling.

"You two having fun?", He asked.

I nodded.

"Daddy! Can we have hot chocolate later?", I asked. "Ask your mother", he said.

Sky helped me to the steps. We ran inside, dad behind us.

"Mommy! Can we have hot chocolate?", I asked. "Of course", she said.

I smiled and ran over to Sky. He helped me get my jacket and shoes off. We sat at the table and drank our hot chocolate. My dad ran his hand through my hair and smiled. I smiled back and laughed.

I woke up and sat up and felt pain shoot up from my bum. I groaned at the pain in my left side and my bum. I looked down and saw I had a cast on my left arm, a bandage around my waist and my left thigh and I felt a bandage wrapped around my head. A nurse walked in and smiled.

"Tyler, I have some pain killers for you. Would like to take them?", She asked. "Please", I replied.

She gave me a cup and two pills. I took them and felt better.

"I'll send your family in", she said and left.

My mom, Skyler, Alex and Emma walked in. My mom and Emma looked like they had been crying. Alex looked like he was about to cry and Sky looked like he was trying to keep from crying.

"My baby boy", my mom said.

She walked over and hugged me. I hugged her back with my free hand. We let go and she sniffed. Emma walked over and gave me a hug. When we let go her and my mom started to cry again.

"Please stop", I said. "I'm glad you survived", Emma said. "Very", my mom added. "I'm going to kill who ever did this", Sky and Alex said. "I'm sure you will", I replied. "Who did it?", Emma asked. "Some of Alex's old friends", I replied. "Why?", My mom asked. "Becasue I turned Alex gay", I replied. "You did nothing. All you did was make me love you", Alex said.

He walked over and kissed my forehead. My mom and Emma blew the nose and whipped away some tears.

"We love you", they all said. "I love you too", I replied tiredly. "Alright, we should get going. Get some rest", my mom said. "I will", I replied.

I watched them leave and sighed. What a life I'm living. I layed back down and tried to sleep. The next morning my door opened. I sat up and looked at the door waiting for them to come in. They came in and it scared me. It was him.
