Faiths POV

I woke up slowly rubbing my eyes and looking around my bedroom. Suddenly the events of the night before came back into my head making me smile, the city, tonight or tomorrow? Well soon I smiled to myself. I yawned and stood up thankful it wasn't my turn to feed the animals Suddenly I herd my mother practically screaming making me jump.

'FAIIITH' she called. I sighed and made my way downstairs to where she was standing at the window

'Yes?' I replied. She turned a slightly disgusted slightly furious expression on her face.

'What is Lyla doing with that...boy' she spat disgustedly. I followed her gaze out of the window to where Lyla and Jay where hugging across the field. I shrugged

'He's our friend Mom' I suggested. She span back around her expression now changing to exasperated.

'You are so naive faith!' She practically shouted. 'Boys do not want to be your friends, they want you for your innocence, maybe it's actually a good thing going to manhattan maybe you'll learn a thing or two!' She spat before walking past me furious. I sighed and made my way outside making my way over to Lyla and Jay. Jay smiled when he saw me and I gave him a quick polite hug, I hoped to god he hadnt herd my mother.

'I herd you and Lyla are going away?' He asked squinting and putting a hand over his eyes to shield them from the sun. I nodded

'Yes we are it's amazing isn't it!' I smiled. Lyla grinned next to me. He nodded smiling

'Ill defiantly miss the both of you though' he laughed.

'Well miss you too jaaaaaaaay' Lyla winked before giving him a kiss on the cheek. I smiled and he nodded at the both of us before walking across to the neighbouring field. Lyla laughed

'Hes cute isn't he' she mumbled. I laughed

'Mom sure as hell doesn't think so' I rolled my eyes.

'Dont even start she doesn't know what she's talking about' Lyla complained. I nodded in agreement.

'Thank god we're getting away from this' I sighed with excitement. Lyla smiled back as we looked across the fields
