(( I truly am sorry for not updating in, well, forever. My dad ended up in the hospital from a heart attack. Life's just sort of been harsh right now and I've been getting very distracted. But, to make it up to you guys, the chapter includes both character's point of views and I also decided that if you have any ideas for the next chapter, just submit them in the comments. But, here you go, Chapter 8. One more thing- The story is going to end at Chapter 10, BUT if enough people do want a sequel, then a sequel will be made. I actually sort of forgot what was going on in the story but I read back on it and I'm sort of caught up. ))

"Pinetree? Pinetree, wake up!"

Nothing but darkness now surrounded me. I thought that I'd forgotten everything that happened that day. I never wanted to remember it. Never wanted to see Robbie. I shouldn't have trusted them. I just wanted to die.

"Pinetree!"

I can hear someone calling my name, but I feel like I'm just trapped inside this endless black world.

"Pinetree, please..."

I finally, yet slowly, opened my eyes, looking around. "Bill..?" A familiar blonde nearly tackled me into a hug, squeezing my sides to the point that I could barely breathe. "PINETREE, WHAT HAPPENED?! WEWEREALLWORRIEDABOUTYOUANDJUST...." Eventually his voice began to fade out as I stared into space, blurting out the words, "How long was I out?" He paused and pulled away, blinking a couple times and staring at me. "About... a day or so. Mabel said the shock got to you." I glanced away, then glanced back at Bill. "Bad memories. But I'm fine."

Bill gave a concerned glance, similar to the one people gave me on each of my birthdays since I'd always lock myself inside my room instead of celebrating, but he gave an understanding nod. "Alright, Pinetree... If you ever need to talk about it, I'm here for you." He flashed a knowingly gentle smile, hugging me tightly as though the world were about to end after a minute. I sighed a little. I hugged back and closed my eyes, enjoying the moment while it lasted. I knew he would most likely never love me back but... I guess I will just have to live with that.
It had been a few hours until Mabel nearly smashed open the door. It was Sunday so we had today off. Sadly. I just wanted to do schoolwork. Hang around in classrooms...and possibly not have Bill staring into my soul. I didn't mind it too much. . .
"DIPPER! I HEARD YOU FINALLY WOKE UP!" How could she possibly have heard that? Only Bill knew. Then again this is Mabel we're talking about. She knows everything.
I nodded and smiled lightly. She gave me a tight hug and sighed. "Alright, I was just making sure, brobro. Anyway. I'm going to go hang out with Pacifica. Bill- watch over Dipper. Make sure he doesn't lose sleep and eat his own shirt. No funny ideas either you two." She winked before skipping out of the room. I rose an eyebrow. Why would she tell us no funny ideas just now? I'm going to be in the same room as him all semester. I don't even know anymore.
I glanced over at Bill. He was sitting in a chair, sipping coffee while wearing a hoodie and sweatpants. He really was cute in those... Not going to deny it...
He looked over at me and smiled lightly, chuckling. It wasn't until now that I'd notice his hat. How couldn't I have noticed it?... He was wearing a top hat and I don't really remember him ever taking it off. Even before bed he never did. Maybe it was a family heirloom or something. I blinked a couple of times and sighed, looking away. Not my business anyway. I sat back on my bed and yawned.
"Hey, Pinetree?.." Bill's voice was soft. For once. I paused and glanced over. "What is it?"
He let out a light sigh, wiping his palms on his pants. "I erm... It's nothing.." He rubbed the back of his neck and glanced away. He seemed really distant. "Bill, is something wrong?"
"No- Well... Yes.. But- sort of..." His eyes glanced to the ground. "It's stupid." He mumbled, leaning back in the chair, folding his arms behind his head as he stared off into space. I smiled lightly. "Hey.. The janitor is supposed to come and clean our dorm today so we'll have to stay out for a while. Maybe we could go have lunch somewhere?"
Bill looked at me and his eyes lit up almost immediately. "I don't see why not." He smiled.
I paused for a moment, thinking. "How about Starbucks? I know one that isn't too far off campus. We could get some coffee and food." I smiled. His eyes seemed to light up at the word, 'coffee'. I laughed a little. He smiled softly. I stood up from my bed and held my hand out to him. "Your highness." He rolled his eyes and laughed, taking my hand. "Nerd." He chuckled, shaking his head.
I smiled, feeling my heart skip a beat once or twice.
When we arrived at the coffee shop, Bill chose a booth for us since I told him I had to go to the bathroom. Here I was, staring at my reflection. "Just do it.. Just.. Tell him." I closed my eyes. "I can't." I suddenly felt embarrassed and sort of awkward when I heard someone from the female's bathroom yell, "You can do it, Dipdop!" Mabel. Oh my gosh. Well... At least someone has faith in me.
I washed my face and stepped out of the bathroom, walking back to the booth and sitting down. "Hey, um, Bill?.." I spoke quietly, hoping this would be like a movie, and someone or something would interrupt us.
But, well, this is no movie.
No one was interrupting us.
And I was scared.
"What is it, Pinetree?" He glanced at me, I immediately looked away, blushing. I was regretting it and deciding to say something else. "Uh... I was wondering.. Your hat.." I looked at him. "Why do you always wear it?"
He paused, then smiled. "My mother gave it to me. Before she died. She wanted me to feel important because when I was younger, I always felt left out. My mother was always busy."
"Oh.." I paused, nodding. "She seemed nice."
He closed his eyes, leaning back. "She was. And she was a bit too stubborn too." He laughed a little. "She would never take medicine when she was sick.. She said it was poison." He sighed and opened his eyes, looking at the waiter, who'd come just a second ago.
"Oh-" The waiter smiled, getting out their "handy dandy notebook". Man I wonder if Blue's Clues is still on television.. I shook my head and smiled. "I'll just take a coffee, please."
Bill looked over and hummed. "Yeah, I'll take a coffee too." He chuckled, laying his top hat over his eyes and leaning back once again. "So, Pinetree. What was it you were really going to ask me?" He glanced over at me with one eye.
I paused and blushed darkly. "W-well.. I was wondering. Do you have your eyes on anyone?" I looked at him.
He rose an eyebrow. "Actually I do. I am speaking with them at this very moment."
"Ha-ha." I rolled my eyes. "I was being serious, Bill."
He smiled a bit, a mischievous glint in his eye. "So was I."
"Alllllright. Two coffees, here you go." The waiter spoke, setting our coffees next to us.
I smiled and thanked them, adding sugar and creamer to my coffee. The dork-wad in front of me, on the other hand, was busy SCOOPING sugar cubes into his coffee. DOZENS of them.
I stirred my coffee and took a sip from the straw, looking up at the clock. Mm... 4:05 PM. Great. I rolled my eyes, setting the coffee cup down. I had one hand still connected to the handle and one hand sort of out in the open. I smiled lightly, glancing out the window.
I glanced back at Bill, taking a sip of my coffee. "Hey, Bill.. How are your arms?.." I spoke quietly. He smiled a bit. "They're okay."
I paused. "I.. Found a razor by your bed a few days back.."
He rose an eyebrow. "You did? I was supposed to give one to Will, he needed to cut a few stacks of paper, but I lost it. It's pretty much useless now." His smile never faltered.
I just nodded, taking another sip from my coffee. At least half an hour later of us chatting, we decided to head- more like sneak- back to our college dorm. When we exited the building, I felt him entangle our fingers, blushing lightly as he playfully swung our hands as we walked. I rolled my eyes, smiling lightly. I watched the ground before looking up at him. He looked happy.
I was happy.

Bill's POV

I closed my eyes as Pinetree and I walked, swinging our hands gently. I couldn't help but smile. I really have fallen for him, haven't I? I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing. But, I'm leaning slightly towards good. I looked back at Pinetree, opening my eyes to do so. He looked back at me. I felt my cheeks warm lightly and looked away, stopping when we reached our dorm. "Well, here we are." I smiled, watching the janitor, who had just left. "Just in time too." He commented, laughing a little. I rolled my eyes and smiled, entering our dorm and sitting on my bed. I leaned back against the wall and closed my eyes thinking. "Hey, Pinetree?.." I glanced at him.
"What is it?" He looked at me. I smiled lightly.
"I think I really have actually.. Sort of.. Fallen for someone." I laughed, shaking my head.
He paused. "Who?" His voice was trailing off. Like he was worried. I smiled and stood up, walking over to the mirror on the wall next to the kitchen. "I'll let you take a guess." I picked up a brush and began brushing my hair. "You still like Pyronica, don't you?.." I glanced at him. He gaze among the floor, then looked up at me and gave a smile. "Oh..."
"What? No." I laughed a little. "I did..but then I found out she only dated me since I was 'popular' in school." I set the brush down and walked over to him. "You were off by a long shot, Pinetree." I laughed, bringing him close until our foreheads touched. "I'm falling for a total dork." I smiled lightly, placing a gentle kiss onto his lips. To my surprise, he didn't pull away. I closed my eyes and wrapped my arms around his neck before pulling away. "I.. I love you, Pinetree." I whispered; my heart picking up the pace in possible worry that he didn't feel the same. He smiled gently, embracing me as I looked up at him. "I love you, too, Bill.." He whispered, closing his eyes slowly. I smiled and closed my eyes as well, heart fluttering. We stayed like that for a while. I wished we could stay this way forever.
