Daisy called out for Cody as she felt that it was suddenly too quiet.
"Cody."
"Cody, where are you?"
"Oh god, Cody!"
She felt her leg being pulled and let out a scream.
"Relax, Muffin Man. It's me. I'm here."
"Not funny, Grumpy Pants."
"Aww I'm sorry."
Cody swam closer to her and gently put his arms around her waist.
"What are you--"
"Were you worried about me?"
"Well yeah, if you were dead your family would kill me."
He laughed and leaned his head on her forehead.
"Cody--"
"Hey, let me enjoy my moment."
Daisy looked up into his dark brown eyes and her heart started to accelerate.
"Hey, I have a question."
"What is it?"
"Why me?"
"Because you're Daisy."
Cody smiled and leaned in closer. Daisy shut her eyes while her lips formed into a shy smile.
He placed a kiss on her left cheek and swam away, laughing. Daisy watched him, with tinted cheeks and a lopsided grin.
