"Thank you, have a nice day!"

Daisy sent her customer a smile and looked around the cafe. Everyone seemed to be entertained and there were no new customers.

She went to the kitchen counter to see if there were any dishes she had to serve when the door bell indicated someone had entered the cafe.

She turned around to see who it was.

She groaned.

It was none other than Cody.

And he had to wear that black hoodie that made him look super hot.

"Astrid, would you take over me for a second?" She called out to her partner.

"I'm currently attending table 7, sorry kid!"

Daisy rolled her eyes and tried to keep a smile on her face as she neared Cody.

She knew what he wanted. A caramel latte. That's what he'd always order.

"H-Hi. Welcome to Five Days Cafe. May I take your order?"

Nice stuttering.

Cody looked at her for a while before stating his order.

"One caramel latte and a blueberry muffin."

A blueberry muffin. Really Cody?

"Um, is that all?"

She looked at Cody and the both of them held eye contact for a while before Daisy looked away.

"Yeah."

Daisy gave a slight nod and walked away to get his order ready.

"One caramel latte and a blueberry muffin. Enjoy!"

Daisy smiled a little as she placed the food on his table.

"Can we talk?"

Daisy's heart started to beat faster.

"Please pay at the counter. Thank you."

Cody grabbed her hand before she could leave.

"I have work, now if you'll excuse me."

Daisy looked at him and pushed his hand away.

She wish she didn't look back though.

He looked as if he wanted to cry.
