Before I start, prayers for 9/11. Never forget.
Day Eleven: Write about your best ways to get story inspiration.
My favorite way to get inspiration is through music. I always listen to music when I write. (I'm listening to the Backstreet Boys as I write this:D)
Music is medicine, plain and simple. Music can do so many things with your emotions. I have a different playlist for each of my stories. For action ones, it's a lot of punk rock or really hard beats. Romance, it's airy and light and beautiful music, maybe strings. Horror I listen to screamo. And fan fictions I usually listen to the music of the band, just to really get in the mood.
Music changes my mood. If I want to go from a happy mood to a horrid mood, I just listen to a screamo song and immediately I could write about a graphic paragraph on zombies eating someone. Music is the most amazing way to get inspiration.
I also get inspiration from my friends and the people around me. My friends usually show up in all my stories, in some way shape or form. Usually they give me good ideas too. If I just talk about a story in detail with them, I'll usually get a good idea based from that. They just have that effect on me:)
