Back To School

She stood proudly next to the director while he was giving his welcoming speech. She was looking straight ahead, hazel eyes searching emerald ones. Her shoulders were stiff and her body rigid, she was certain he would pull some kind of tricks. A round of applause pulled her from her thoughts and she heard the director call for her. She smiled and made her way towards the microphone,cleared her throat.

She opened her mouth and from it escaped an ear splitting scream. Alicia Blaze,the president of the student council,stood infront of all the attendants of the school drenched from head to toe in her uniform. Her small figure shook with anger as a loud laugh was heard from above her. Standing on the wooden platform above the stage was none other than Ace Traynor,he was leaning against the railing,an empty pail in his hand and the other one was holding his stomach. Alicia looked at him and smiled sweetly at him while cracking her knuckles. Ace laughed again and ran down the platform and stopping just in front of the entry door. Alicia cleared her throat and tapped the micro"Excuse me for a moment please"she said in an angelic voice.

She hopped off the stage and raced towards Ace who was still laughing while jogging away." You damn squirel I am going to make you swallow your teeth!!"shouted Alicia. Ace smirked and muttered" Your threats are as bad as ever!" Alicia turned beet red and her lips quivered while her mind tried to find a comeback to his comment. Ace laughed once again, he just loved teasing her, her expressions were just too funny.He loved the effect he had on her,it made him feel superior.

Alicia puffed out her cheek and hugged her body. She trembled as a light breeze moved the trees and her coppery brown hair. Ace looked at her,now sincerely worried about her. He went near her and bent down to her level,brushed her hair out of her face. He lifted her face with his thumb and forefinger. He has always been mesmerized by her eyes, they were hazel brown but also held red sparkles as if there was a fire blazing in her soul. He pulled her face closer so that their nose were touching. Alicia clamped her eyes shut expecting a kiss but instead felt Ace's hot breath fanning over her face and heard a deep chuckle. She snapped her eyes open and blushed profusely. "Warm enough now?" He asked with a devilish smirk playing on his lips. Alicia huffed and murmured,"It's not like i was expecting anything and by the way give me your shirt please"Alicia said with a pout on her pink plump lips. Ace made an annoyed face but gave it to her anyway. Alicia jumped and hugged him then muttered a thank you before sprinting back to the gymnasium to make her speech as the S.C.P.(Student Council President)

Ace watched her running clumsily on the hard ground and found himself smiling when he saw her trip over flat surface once in a while. When Alicia had finally entered the auditorium it was noisy;pupils talking loudly and teachers trying hard to keep them calm. The director was nowhere to be found, 'lazy old fart' Alicia thought. She went on the podium and stood behind the microphone.

She inhaled harshly just to catch her breath and said in a chirpy loud voice," Good morning everyone!! I hope I haven't made you wait long...haha...soooo...well thats funny I did not bring the paper...well don't worry i'll manage something!" Alicia straightened her dress and brushed some stray curl from her face. She stopped smiling and said loudly, " I am the student council president, Alicia Blaze, most of you know me but for the newcomers i will just let you know that i am very nice and crazy but i just want you to know that there are walls that you do not have the right to go beyond and I hope that you won't venture around because it won't be nice if the director or I find out about it." She breathed out and smiled goofily when she saw that Ace was staring at her and said " I just wish you a nice welcome and hope that we will make happy memories together!!"

Everyone clapped their hands and some even shouted. Ace was at the farback of the gymnasium watching her every movements and smirked," Looking forward to making them Ali."
