Family time

Alicia's P.O.V

My alarm rung and I fell off my bed. Yes I actually fell,it startled the life out of me. I sighed and went to the bathroom. I yawned and stood in front of the mirror to brush my teeth. I grabbed my purple toothbrush and applied the some toothpaste on it. I pushed my tangled hair out of my face and look at the mirror. "Holy cow!!" I yelped. I brought my fingers to my eyes and lightly prodded my puffy eyes. I sighed once again and started brushing my teeth. I will just deal with my face later.

When I spat the last mouthful of toothpaste, I splashed cold water onto my face and got into the shower. I opened the tap and got under the hot water. The burning sensation felt oddly nice, my stiff shoulders relaxed and tingles shot up my spine. I scrubbed my body with lilac scented shower gel and washed it off. I got out of the shower,wrapped myself in a towel and stood in front of the mirror. I took a hand towel, soaked it in cold water and pressed it to my eyes to calm down the swelling. After fifteen minutes i removed it and went back to my room. I slipped into my uniform and went downstairs for breakfast.

"Good morning love." My dad said while my mom tied his tie. Aww they were so adorable. "Morning daddy." I said and offered him a huge smile. "Sweety call Shayn downstairs please." My mom told me. I nodded and went to the stair's footstep. "SHAYN BREAKFAST!!!" I yelled. I heard a loud thud followed by groans and swearing. I giggled and looked up seeing my brother clad in only a pair of track pants and a white T. He was scratching his stomach and I could see his V-line and two of his 6 packs.

He hissed at me and mimicked a cat moving its paws. I laughed and mewl at him. He eyed me weirdly before catching me into a headlock and taking me to the kitchen with him. We chuckled and entered the kitchen. My mom giggled while my dad just grinned with a silly role of eyes. We all sat down and mom placed a plate full of crepes. Shayn and I made eye contact and we both launched our hands towards the plate. He grabbed it before me. "I'm your little sister and I'm going to school so I need more energy than you do." I grumbled out trying to convince him to give them to me. "I'm going to the company with dad today and I'll be there till 6p.m so I need that more than you do." I huffed and just took a piece of buttered toast instead. "Baby girl. How is Ace doing?" My dad asked and I immediately tensed. "Yes sweetheart, it's been a while since he last came visit." My mom added. I tightened my fist and tried my best to stay composed.

"He is okay. As annoying as ever." I said pouting. "He got himself a girlfriend." I added with a forced grin. My dad chuckled and my mom giggled. "Take example son!" My dad told my brother slapping his back playfully. I faked a cry and hugged Shayn," Not my big brooooo!!" I sobbed out teasingly. "Don't fear my adorable little sister. I shall never leave your side." He said taking me by the shoulder and wiping his snot into my hair." Ewwww...!!! Shayn that's disgusting!" I yelled while pushing his face from mine. My parents and Shayn burst out laughing while I was getting my hair back into place. "Honey, why don't we invite the Traynors for dinner tomorrow night? It's been such a long time since we've had dinner together." My mom gushed out while clapping her hands together. 'Dad please say no' I prayed silently. "Such a brilliant idea,darling!" My dad said. "I'll call Rebecca later this afternoon!" My mom exclaiming happily. I forced out a smile and grinded my teeth together. 'Why was dad and Ace's dad best friends?' I whined in my head.

"Hey guys, you mind if I invite Spencer too?" My brother asked catching both my parents and I's attention. "Of course!! He was in town... sheesh he should have said." My mom said with a pout on her lips." What is he doing right now?" My dad asked my brother. " Euh he is teaching at Ali's school." My dad raised an eyebrow at my brother who quickly dismissed it with a wave of his hand. "I'll get going then." I said awkwardly breaking the silence

I got up and made my way towards the front door. I got into my shoes. "I'll drive you." Shayn said dangling his keys between his fingers. I grinned and immediately rushed outside. He chuckled and followed suit,unlocking the door so I could slide in the passenger seat.

I sighed dreamily loving the feeling of the smooth ivory leather cooling my skin. "Oh god I just love your car!!" I exclaimed while rubbing my hands over the soft texture of his seat. "Stop feeling up my car, you pervert." My brother said making a disgusted face. I poked my tongue at him and he ruffled my hair. He started the car and I stared at the scenery outside. I was already planning different kind of ways to avoid Ace today and the fact that I'm the student council president is helping much because of the sports day coming up I'm pretty busy with all the planning.

I sighed dreamily and sucked in a deep breath and let out a pwah noise. "You love him,don't you?" My brother muttered glancing at me for a short second. My brain stopped working at that comment.
