The Fall

Alicia's P.O.V

"Who is Ashley?" I asked him again,raising my voice ever so slightly. He stared at me, his emerald eyes softening a bit. My heart clenched 'Why is he making that face? Does he like her??!!' My mind was racing with questions and my heart was beating against my rib cage. He came closer to me making our height difference obvious. He bent down and brushed a lock of my copper hair off my shoulder. He put his lips against my ear.

"Ashley is my girlfriend." He said monotonously. I felt all the colour and warmth drain from my face and body. My body was shaking and it felt as if my whole world just shattered. I tried my best to look unaffected. I plastered a smile onto my face and lightly punched his arm," You little piece of cake! You need to tell your friend things like that" He scratched the back of his head and sighed. " I don't love her or anything." He said aloud. " Of course you don't." I winked and added,"You live for her." I giggled even though I wanted the tears that i've been fighting back to flow freely.

"Ahhh!! I did not do the biology work. I'll catch you later!" I muttered before racing towards the door. I swiveled around and waved him bye before facing ahead. I pushed the door open and allowed my tears to finally flow freely from my eyes. I wanted to scream but I just breathed out and went down the stairs. My tears blurred my vision and I missed a step. I felt my body hit all the corners and edges of the 12 stairs ahead. I let darkness engulf me, it was so warm compared to reality.

I heard faint sounds around me. A soft voice and a really nice smell. Someone lifted me up bridal style and carried me to god knows where. The person warmth seeked through my skin into my bones and my heart.

Ace's P.O.V

Ashley called again just after Ali had left. I wanted to hold her back,I knew she liked me she made it pretty much obvious but Ashley is my girlfriend now and I must stay with her. I scratched my head and sighed,Ashley told me that she will come meet me when school is over. The bell rang and I unwillingly made my way towards class.

After a couple of minutes I finally reached the door of my class and slid it open. Alicia was not at her desk.' Maybe she has a meeting.' I cleared my head and just sat at my table staring at the rays of sunlight passing through the green trees.

Flashback

She was a breath away from my face. She had this cute and adorable awe face. She sat back on the grass and giggled to herself. I looked at her as if she had gone mad. She breathed out gently and closed her eyes. " Your eyes." She whispered dreamily. "They put nature to shame. When I look into them i feel as if I am looking at a beautiful clearing in the middle of nowhere." She made me love my eyes.

Ace's P.O.V

It had been 45 minutes since the teacher came and still no sign of her. The biology teacher was ranting on about how a plant need water and so on when a knock was heard. I looked up expecting to see Blaze. Sadly,it was the nurse of the school. The guys of the class drooled over her while she talked with our teacher. She was talking about god knows what and the teacher made a shocked face. The nurse smiled and excused herself. Mr. Leaf, our biology tutor cleared his throat and said, " Miss Blaze got hurt and is actually in the infimary. She will not be able to attend classes." The girls gasped and the boys looked pretty shocked. Mr. Leaf eyed me for any reaction. I just got up and got out of the class.

Alicia's P.O.V

I heard a rustling of curtains and a weight press down on the bed I think I was laying on. I stirred slightly and tried to open my eyes. My body felt heavy and numb. I felt someone brush a stray bang out of my face and lightly touch my cheek and trace my lips. I felt my body heat up a little. I whimpered and tried opening my eyes. I saw black spots at first but then it was much clearer. I saw broad shoulders and a well featured face staring down at me. I squinted my eyes because i could not see very well. "Ace..?" I murmured. My throat felt dry, it was craving for water. The person sitting on my bed smiled slightly and made me sit up. Now I could see clearly and he was not Ace.
