I was walking down the town of magnolia with a long black cloak on, with the hood up so no one could see my face and Aiko was sleeping in my arms (so she was covered by the cloak). I was minding my own business trying to look for the Fairy Tail Guild when I bumped into someone causing me to drop Aiko and wake her up
"Y/n...What happened, are you okay?" Aiko was a little groggy so she couldn't completely figure out what was going on.
"Sorry there Sir" I looked at who was talking, it was a man who had salmon pink hair and onyx eyes. I saw a blue exceed next to him.
"I'm not a sir" I stood up and dusted off my cloak. and I had put my hood down to prove I was girl.
The man looked at me for a minute and took in my features. "Hey, I recognize you....Do I know you?" The man took an even closer look at me.
"I do not believe that I have met you before this moment Sir." I took a closer look at him as well and noticed he had the Fairy Tail Emblem on his shoulder. "Are you a member of the Fairy Tail guild?"
"Yes I am! My name is-"
"That is not necessary. Please take me to your guild."
"Why should I?" The stubborn man folded his arms and pouted but it was easy to tell he wasn't actually mad.
"I have business with the guild master, Makorav Dreyer "
"How do I know you're not a bad guy?"
"Look here buddy, we don't like messing around, so would you please for the loVE OF ALL THINGS HOLY JUS-"
"Aiko!!" I put my hand over mouth to shut her up because the last thing I wanted to do was cause a huge scene.
I pulled out the ID card the wizard council told me show anyone in case they didn't believe me. It simply had a picture of my face, a short description of my looks, who I work for, why I need to see the people I need to see, and a signature from a wizard saint. I held it out in front of his face.
" Oh. So you work for the police thingy type people? "
"Yes, I'm looking for a certain person and they are a member of Fairy Tail. That's why I need you to take me there."
"Who is that person?"
"I'd feel more comfortable if I talked to your guild master about this."
"Okay. Then what are we waiting for!" The man-boy grabbed my hand and started running through the streets.
I attempted to put my hood up but it just kept coming down.
"Why do you keep trying to put your hood up. It's not like your ugly. You're really pretty to be honest." I saw the blush form on his face and I was about to thank him until Aiko started making vomit noises in the background.
"You're already hitting on her and you haven't even known her for five minutes!!!"
"Aiko!!!" I playfully slapped her arm and looked back at Natsu. "Thank you for the compliment but there is no need to do such a thing"
"Well my friend told me that if I think a girl is pretty I should compliment her without hesitation. Whatever that means, I only listened to the beginning part"
"Well your friend is very smart, mind telling me their name?"
"Her name is Lucy Heartfalia, she's my best friend"
I had recognized that name, and not in a good way. As if there's something lingering in that last name. I decided to leave it alone and hope I wasn't reminded.
