The man dragged me to the guild and he slammed the door open. I tried to not trip on myself too much but since he was basically running through everything, it caused me to do the same.
As we entered it was silent, a few whispers here and there but I tried to not let it bother me.
"His office is just up there" He pointed to a wooden door on the second level of the building. I quickly thanked him then carried on with my business.
Natsu's pov
"Hey, flame brain, who was that?" Gray asked me as i walked up to the bar and got a drink.
"Someone who was sent by the wizard council."
"Are you serious!?!?! How can you be so calm about this??!!?!" Why was the Ice prick getting so worked up over it, i don't see why it's a big deal.
"Why shouldn't i be calm about it?"
"Well either the entire guild could get into some serious trouble or you could get into some serious trouble Natsu." Mira chimed into our conversation.
"What do you mean, I never get into any trouble, ever." Almost everyone rolled their eyes at me, except for Lucy, probably cause she wasn't here to hear my remark.
I was about to say something but Gramps' door swung open and revealed a smiling Gramps' "We just got a new member! And a powerful one at that!"
The lady walked out of the office with a smirk on her face. I walked up to her and asked, "What happened to that person you needed to see in this guild?"
"Oh don't worry, I'll see them, I'll just stick around longer than expected to see them."
"What?! How did that happen?"
"That's between Makarov and I."
"Oh. Well do you have a place to stay since you just got to the guild and weren't expecting to join, I wouldn't think you had an apartment."
"It's not that late in the day, I'm sure I can get an apartment somewhere around here, I have plenty of money, so that's not an issue.'
"Can I come with you?" I was eager to learn more about this girl, she seemed like an interesting person.
"First. What's your name?"
"Natsu Dragneel." The girl quickly looked at her exceed and her exceed did the same in return.
"Yes, you may come." I wonder what all of that was about, but before I could ask her she introduced her self a little more casually this time.
"Nice to meet you Natsu, My name is Y/n L/n. It'll be a pleasure getting to know you." She reached her hand out (for a handshake), I didn't know what she was doing, so i just assumed she was ding a sideways high five and slapped her hand then ran out the door.
"Come on Y/n! Let's go!" I looked back to see her shaking her head in disappointment but then smiling. I knew she and I were gonna be great friends.
