Dylan Dazaut

Hey. My names Jenna and my boyfriend is Dylan. Our 1 year anniversary is tomorrow and he hasn't mentioned anything. I'm really worried that maybe he forget or doesn't care or something. All my friends say it will be okay, but I don't think so. For our one month he gave me hints. I just hope I'm still good enough for him.

The Next Day

I woke up at 7 and got out of bed. It was summer, but I was an early riser. I went into the bathroom and did my routine. Then I decided to get dressed. I put on a red skater skirt and a white lace top. I left my wavy brown hair how it was and put on some makeup. I put on mascara and eyeliner.

I made up my bed and checked my phone. There was a message from Faith, my best friend.

Text Convo:

F: I'm coming over
J: potassium
F: :)
J: you shouldn't be texting and driving
F: I'm walking
F: I'm outside open the door

I walked downstairs and opened the front door to see Faith wearing shorts and a tank top.

"Good you're already dressed."

"Yea. Don't you like my skirt?"

"Of course. I'm the one who got that for you."

"Let's go to your car."

"I haven't eaten."

"Don't worry. You will soon. We're going to IHop."

"Ohh. Sounds good."

"I'll drive."

I tossed her the keys.

"Don't crash my baby."

"I will try not to."

I rolled my eyes and got I the passenger seat. I turned the radio on and started singing. Faith joined in and we belted to the music all the way to IHop.

As soon as Faith parked I jumped out of the car. Faith came up right behind me.

We walked in and got a booth.

"I'll be back." Faith said

"Potassium."

"Are you ever going to stop obsessing over the Periodic Table of Elements?"

"Nope."

"This is why we're best friends, we're both weird."

I was looking at the menu when Faith sat down.

"Back already?" I asked not looking up

"Miss me?"

"Dylan!"

I got up and hugged him.

"You know, I feel like love is in the air."

"It's not. Oxygen, Nitrogen and Carbon Dioxide are."

"You're so cute."

"Yea. This is what we're together, you need someone cute in your selfie's."

"Mmhm. That's why."

We ordered our pancakes and after we finished eating we went roller skating, then on a picnic, then walked to the local pool, where Dylan wanted to swim. The only problem was I didn't have a swimsuit. No we did jot go skinny dipping, Dylan got Faith to buy me a swim suit. Yes, she was in on the plan from the start, but that's what friends do for you.

All in all, I had an amazing day with Dylan and we were the happiest couple. I lived him so much and was glad he felt the same for me.
