Emily's POV
I woke up. It was 3:26 am and Jacob wasn't in bed. Instead I saw the hallway light turned on. I grabbed my slippers and went to see what was going on. I opened the door and I saw Jacob on the phone. "Oh thank you so much! How much was he again? Okay and by what time do I need to pick him up? Okay thank you so much ma'm!" He hung up. Did he ask how much "he" was HE what the hell is he buying?! Whatever. I saw the hallway light turn off. Uh oh. I ran into bed.
Jacobs POV
I knew Emily was hearing my conversation with the woman selling an adorable puppy. Today's our one year anniversary and Emily for a fact LOVES animals especially dogs and cats. "I know you're awake babe" I said. "Hi" she giggled. She got up "what were you talking about in the hallway?" She asked. I grinned. "something for later" I said. "Now go back to sleep it's too early for you to be awake"'I teased. "Whatever" she yawned then she collapsed on my shoulder. I fell asleep yaktoo because I spent 2 hours searching for the perfect gift and I'm tired.
Later 10:34 am
I got up and so did Emily. "Sorry to wake you" I said. "It's alright" she yawned. I got dressed because I was supposed to meet the lady selling the puppy at 11:35. "I'll be right back Emily" I said. She grinned. "Take your time. I have something special planned" she said. "Alright princess bye" I said. I left the house and called an uber. I arrived at the house. "Hi you must be Jacob?" Asked the lady. She was really pretty but older then me like 5 years older? "Um yeah how much was the puppy?" I asked. She starred at me with her gorgeous blue eyes. "$75 that's all" she said. I handed her the money and she gave me the puppy. "Aww you're gonna love your new owner" I said. "Wait it isn't for you?" She asked. "No actually it's for my girlfriend" I said. "Well thank you!" I said. Then I left. Wonder what Emily has in store for me...
Emilys POV
So it was our one year anniversary and I decided to make him his favorite meal, and dessert. I went to the mall and bought him these J's he's been dying to get. Finally he came back. He was hiding something in his jacket. I hid the present I bought him. "Hey babe!" I said. I gave him a kiss. "Hey baby girl" he said "I have something for you" I said. I ran over and got the present. "I have something for you too" he said. He pulled out a puppy from his jacket. "JACOB OH MY LORD ITS SO FREAKING FLUFFY AND ADORABLE AND!!!! PUPPPYYYYYYY!!!!!" I yelled. I started to play with the puppy and Jacob put on his shoes. "Thanks babe!" He said. "No problem! PUPPPYYYY" I squealed. "So what are you going to name him?" He asked
Jacobs POV
"So what are you going to name him?" I asked. "Um his fur reminds me of a Teddy bear so... Teddy Bear!" She said. "Alright baby, your puppy your choice." I smelled something familiar. "I smell my favorite food!" I exclaimed. I went to the kitchen and my favorite food was on the counter. "WHO DID THIS?" I said excitedly. "I did, Happy one year babe" she said. We ate and just laughed. "Wanna go to the park?" I asked. "Um sure!" So after we finished eating we grabbed Teddy Bear on a leash and walked down to the park. Then we ran into the person we least wanted to see. "Hey Bella" I said faking a smile. "Hi Jacob!" She winked. "So where ya heading?" She asked. "Um... To the mall! We're heading to the mall." I said. Emily played along. "Yeah definetley, um we should get going right?" She said. "Right, let's go" I said. We walked fast to avoid Bella and we made it to the park! We sat next to the water fountain and watched Teddy run around.
Emily's POV
We watched Teddy run around chasing a butterfly. "So?" He said. "So?" I asked. "where are my kisses?" He said. I grinned. "Look left, look right, look up, look down and you have something on your shirt and got it" I said. I gave him a kiss. He smiled. We spent an hour in the park and it was 7:37 already so we left home. "I wanna watch a movie" he said. "Alright, let's watch one" I said. We scrolled through Netflix and saw a comedy movie and I fell asleep halfway through the movie. "Night princess" I heard him whisper. "Night" I said. He turned off the Laptop and fell asleep beside me with his arms wrapped around me.
