Sting knocked on the door, but there was no answer. "I think she's out, Sting-kun." Lector yawned from below. "Let's go to the candy shop." He pulled on Sting's pants. But instead of going with Lector, he pressed his ear to the door, "Wait. I think I can hear something. It sounded like... crying?!" Without hesitation, Sting immediately broke open the door.
Lucy, hearing the door got slammed open, felt hope filling her chest once again. Had Natsu come back? Had Natsu forgiven her? She got up and ran to the hallway, in time to see the Sting rushing it. The energy she got from being hopeful evaporated immediately, and she fell back down. So it wasn't Natsu after all...
Soon, she felt a pair of warm, strong hands engulfing her in a hug. "What's wrong Lucy?" He asked in a worried whisper. Lucy looked up, "Sting... I-"
BOOM!
Lucy's kitchen blew up.
Sting immediately stood up in front of Lucy protectively. Amidst the dust, came a figure, dressed in soft pink. "Hello." The black haired girl smiled. She wore a short, pink kimono with her long hair braided with a pink bow. She was wearing glasses and black gata, a katana at her side. At her right thigh was a guild mark.
"Who are you?!" Sting yelled. "Lucy Heartfilia? Hi. I need you to come with me." The girl ignored Sting and bent down near Lucy. Lucy scooted away from her, "W-who are you?" Lucy asked in a small voice. Sting, annoyed at being ignored, tried to push her away. The girl immediately pushed the tip of her unsheathed katana to his neck. "Oh, sorry for my rudeness. My name is Seraphine." She said, then, glaring at Sting, she added, "And would you kindly tell your boyfriend here that attacking people while they're speaking is very rude." She flicked her katana up, hitting Sting's jaw. Dizzy, Sting fell and his hands were immediately tied up with the girl's magic.
Lucy's entire body shook with fear, "Why are you here?" She asked. The girl smiled brightly, "Why, to take you with me of course. Didn't you read the will?" She asked.
"W-will?"
"Yes, the will. The one left to you by your mother and father."
"W-what are you talking about? It was only my mother's will. Dad didn't left me any will."
"Are you sure?" The girl flicked her hand and the will came floating from Lucy's bedroom. She discarded the envelope and her mother's will to the floor. To Lucy's surprise, there was another paper stuck to the will. "Ah, here it is. Ehem, let me read it to you.
Dear Lucy,
I hope that you are well and happy. You must be nearing 18 now and although I know that you are happy with your friends at that guild, I need you to come back and take over the Heartfilia business. I have assigned a group of people who will escort you. Don't you worry, they are nice people and they won't harm you.
I expect that you have a fiancé right now? I want you to marry your fiancé when you turn 21 so that you can start building a family. I don't want to see you all lonely.
I have left all property under your name. And your mother left you some memento at the mansion.
I hope everything goes well.
Love,
Jude HeartfiliaThat was very touching. Now, shall we?" She smiled and extended her hand. "Don't go Lucy!" Sting exclaimed. Lucy accepted Seraphine's hand and stood up. "Sorry." She shook her head and went away with Seraphine.
"Lucy!!"
The magic that tied him up vanished 30 minutes later, and, unable to detect any smell from Seraphine, went to Fairy Tail.
