Chapter Two - Home, Not So Sweet, Home

Chapter Two

"My Autumn Belle were almost there." I felt my dad's kind voice float past me. Opening my ears I looked into forest's I hardly remember. How I had not missed this place and even though I have spent 13 years of my life here and only five at Midnight Star's pack I can easily tell you which one feels like home.

"Sweetheart, let her rest." My mum looked lovingly at my dad. Even after all these years it still amazed me the power of being mates. A small part of me hoped I would meet my mate soon but then an even bigger part was saying DON'T YOU DARE GET A MATE FROM THE LUNA NIGHT PACK! And let's just say I'm listening to that part a lot more.

"It's okay mum I need to prepare myself any way." My mum gave me a small smile then faced back to the front. I continued to look out the window till I saw a huge mansion come into view. One thing's for sure this pack was a lot richer than the Midnight Star pack. Lined out the front of the mansion where rows and rows of six figure sports cars all bright colought against the clean white marble of the house. While the Midnight Star pack house was made of wood, small and painted white and blue, the Luna Night pack house was at least three stories and had large white marble everywhere.

After parking the car dad, mum and I got our bags and headed to the front door. It was three am by now so we didn't think anyone would be up and were very suspired when Alpha Jack opened the front door with a warm smile and a cheerful face.

"The Belle family! Now I was wondering what time you would be getting in." My parents both laughed and headed inside with me following close behind. Alpha Jack was a lot like my temporary Alpha, Alpha Andrew. Alpha Jack White looking at him closely didn't look a day over 40 but because I knew he was my father's age was 52.

"I can tell you're probably tired?" Alpha Jack asked with a chuckle, my parents laughed with him while I stayed back and slightly hidden by the shadows. Both my parents nodded and Alpha Jack started taking us to our rooms. I was too tired to pay attention to anything, except I couldn't help but smell something that smelt just like heave. It invaded my nostrils and put my head in a slight dazes.

"Here we are Autumn this will be your room." Forgetting about the scent I bowed my hair in thanks and respect and moved into my room. I was surprised to find myself oddly comfortable in the room seeming how so many years ago in this exact room I had felt so alone and sad.

"Is this room to your liking?" Alpha Jack asked, I turned and gave him my warmest smile.

"Thank Alpha, its perfect." With that I wished them all a good night and promised to talk to my parents in the morning. Closing the door I went and washed up put on my most comfortable cloths and feel asleep before my head even hit the pillow.
