Chapter Fourteen

“So?” I looked at Luke confused, I knew some rogues were dangerous, but most were just misunderstood like I used to be. I had to admit I had a small soft spot for rogues.

“I don’t think you heard me right, I am a rogue.” He looked at me like I was crazy and put more emphasis on the rouge. I chuckled and looked at his serious expression,

“Have you killed anyone in the past year.” I gave Luke the most serious look I can muster. He seemed to think about this for a while, I was starting to get nervous when he said,

“Well no not really…” I slapped my hand down on my desk causing a few people to turn around,

“There, I rest my case.” He was still looking at me strangely so I sighed,

“Look Superman, I need friends right now and I don’t have a lot of them, so as long as you’re not a murderer then I am more than happy to have you as a friend, so what do you say? Friends?” I held out my hand out for him to shake. He stared at my hand for a while and just before I pulled it away he grabbed my hand and shook it with a forced smile on his face,

“I would love to be your friend Autumn.” Luke’s fake smile stayed in place for the whole lesson, only looking real when I asked if he want to meet up at lunch.

Once the bell went I said goodbye to Luke and headed to my next class, maths went quickly and I spent most of my time thinking up my revenge for Max. I had been here way to long and hadn’t even started to make him pay for those thirteen years of hell.

By the time the bell for lunch went I had the perfect revenge planned for my mate. My wolf was completely against the idea, after our kiss earlier she had completely turned to the dark side, Max’s side. I tried talking to her but she was ignoring me with a passion.

Putting my books away I headed for the cafeteria. I was almost at the door when three girls blocked my way,

“Oh hi Caitlin! Nice of you to finally face me.” I gave her a smirk and looked at the girls behind her, “and you brought Holly and Maddy, wow girls you’re looking more plastic than last time, didn’t mummy tell you being a slut was bad for your health?” I asked with sarcastic sympathy, I was in no mood to talk to these bitches. Caitlin growled at me but I simply smirked at her while Holly looked offended. Maddy on the other hand was as much of an airhead as she had been five years ago and didn’t seem to understand,

“Why would I be plastic I am a werewolf I’m made of skin and bone.” She pointed down at her body with a raised eyebrow,

“Shut up Maddy!” Caitlin glared furiously at the girl before facing me,

“I made your life hell once fat face and I can easily do it again, so a word of warning stay away from my man!” She hissed out at me and I giggled, “What’s so funny?” She was beyond angry, I could see it in her eyes,

“Oh Caitlin when will you see Autumn Belle Fat Face is gone forever and here to replace her is Autumn Belle- Never-Make-A-Threat-At-Me-If-You-Want-To-See-Tomorrow. I suggest that you stay well away from me for a while, because I am going to make every single one of you pay for my thirteen years in hell,” I stepped closer so we were noes to noes, “and a word of warning.” I stepped back and gave her the sweetest smile I could, “it ain’t going to be pretty.” With that I pushed past Caitlin, Holly and Maddy and walked into the cafeteria.

I could just hear Caitlin, Holly and Maddy gasping and whispering behind me but my smirk just grew and I ignored them.

I stopped and looked around at the cafeteria a eerily silent followed my arrival,

Looking around I saw all the guys stop there conversations to look at me up and down. I held a smirk on my face as I turned to look at Max, giving him a wink I turn and looked at the first part of my revenge against Max.

I started walking with confidence towards Luke, he looked confused at first but then quickly gave me a smile. Walking till I was right in front of him I slipped onto his lap so I was straddling him. He didn’t push me away so I took that as a good sign.

“I need your help…” I said while giving him a seductive pout, he looked hard of breathing so simply nodded for me to continue, leaning close to his ear I whispered,

“I need you to be my boyfriend for a while…” Looking at Luke I saw him smirked,

“I knew you would come around, now does new boyfriend get a kiss.” He wiggled his eyebrows and I let out a laugh, looking over his shoulder I saw Kyle and Jacob holding Max back as he struggled to get to me. I smirked and I mind linked him,

His is for all the years of torture!

And with that in his mind I smashed my lips to Luke’s. To say I was repulsed would have to be a good word, after my kiss with Max, Luke’s lips felt too large and too slippery but he didn’t seem to notice as the kissed turned a little hotter, he bit my bottom lip asking for entrance but I pulled away pecking him quickly on the lips,

“Not in the middle of the cafeteria.” With that I winked and pulled myself off his lap. I continued walking towards the door, but before I left I took one look at Max, his eyes meet mine and I could see not only angry and lust but also a deep sadness. I felt a twinge of guilt but pushed it away, no I would no longer be weak around Max so before leaving the room I sent him one more mind link,

The torture has only begun…
