Step one, you say we need to talk

Lauren has never felt her heart stop before. No one has ever felt their heart stop before. Because when your heart stops, it means you're dead. But as Lauren stands at the front desk of the hospital, she's alive with her heart...stopped? She doesn't feel it beating, she doesn't feel anything because she's more focused on finding out the room number.

"Lady! What is the fucking room number!?"

"Lauren." Ally placed her hand on the green eyed girl's shoulder, hoping it would calm her down.

The lady started typing on her keyboard faster than before."Room 327. The elevator–" the lady pointed down the hall, not being able to finish because Lauren was already rushing towards the direction she was pointing. The girls quickly followed, Ally sending an apologetic look towards the lady before she rushed off.

And I would have stayed up with you all night
Had I known how to save a life

"I've never seen her act like this before." Camila muttered, walking beside Dinah, seeing Lauren basically punch the elevator button.

"She didn't act like this when you were in the hospital." Dinah pointed out, feeling Camila's eyes on her when she did. Dinah shrugged,"It's true. Sorry."

Camila shook her head, sighing quietly as they reached Lauren. Lauren rushed into the elevator as soon as it opened, pressing the third floor button then rushing the girls in harshly. She tapped her foot impatiently, watching as the number go up slowly. Camila bit her lip, taking a step forward and grabbing Lauren's hand. Only for Lauren to let her hand go as soon as the doors opened, looking left and right for the way the room could be. Camila's frown didn't go unnoticed by the girls, so they gently pushed her out of the elevator to silently her to hurry up. If they didn't move, they'd lose Lauren.

And pray to God he hears you
And pray to God he hears you

"Where's room number 327?" Lauren asked hurriedly. The girl behind the desk pointed to her left, which was Lauren's right, so she ran past the girls searching for the room. The girls looked at each other confusedly, but following Lauren anyway just as fast she was.

A little out of breath, Lauren reached the door and, for some reason, was too scared to walk in. Her hand held onto the doorknob, but she didn't seem to have the strength to open the door. That was until she heard voices inside the room...

As he begins to raise his voice
You lower yours and grant him one last choice
Drive until you lose the road
Or break with the ones you've followed
He will do one of two things
He will admit to everything
Or he'll say he's just not the same
And you'll begin to wonder why you came...

Y/N, half asleep, tried not to pay attention to her mother go on about how she shouldn't have done what she has done. Her mother said instead of trying to kill herself, she should have just asked for help to get 'the demons' out of her. Y/N's eyes fell shut, not trying to fight the sleep anymore, she is so glad she knew the nurse because it made it easier to ask for morphine.

"...we will schedule a session with the best psychiatric facility in the state...."

"Go ahead. Waste money. That's the best thing you do in life." Y/N muttered, the wraps in her wrists beginning to itch. She doesn't hear a response from her mother, is that a good thing or a bad thing? Her question was answered seconds later.

"We raised you to be normal! How can you do such a thing and rebel–"

"Oh my god, Mom, just shut up." Y/N's brother groaned out, his arms across his chest with puffy red eyes. That caused Y/N to open her eyes, looking at her brother sadly, she didn't know how this would affect him. She wasn't thinking when she did what she. Actually she was, she had dialed the older girl's number before doing it...she blinked away her tears, closing her eyes so she wouldn't see her brother's sad eyes. She did notice before closing her eyes that he was wearing his black scrubs, he must have taken a break from work to visit her now.
