As I balance myself on a low branch of a pine tree, I watch Dylan storm out of Katrina's house. Next, Natalie showed up, then she stormed out.
When nightfall came, I jumped down from my branch and landed lightly on my feet.
I headed toward Katrina's door. I reached for the handle, then stopped. I listened real closely, keeping myself imperturbable.
Then I walked in. I see Katrina quickly wipe away tears, but when she sees me she stops.
"Oh it's you." She said.
She gets up and storms upstairs. I followed.
"Leave Alex!" She yelled.
"No! Not till you tell me why you left me." I yelled back. I grab her wrist and pulled her close to me.
"I left you because you left me!" She screamed, shoving me.
"Look, I said I was sorry about that baby. Haven't you forgiven me yet?" I said. I grip the luscious curve of her body with one hand and gently glide the other across her cheek.
"No." She says.
She gives me a cold look and brushes my hand away.
To be honest, I feel hurt. Usually she never really could resist me and vise versa when she'd give me bambi eyes. What has gotten into her?
"I've grown up now Alex. I don't play your stupid tag games anymore. Just leave!" She yells, shoving me into the wall.
I'm suddenly full of rage and don't know what to do with myself. I just want to punch something.
I reached out and grabbed her neck. She gasped as I pinned her to the bed.
"Shouldn't have done that." I growled.
I to choke the living life out of her.
I stopped for a moment and glance at the look on her face. The look of horror. She must see me as a monster. I didn't want to do this.
I soften my grip and lightly caressed her neck.
She takes a big breath and a tear streaks her cheek.
"Shh. It's ok. I'm not gonna hurt you Katrina." I told her.
I nuzzle her neck. She smells like flowers, cinnamon and Amber candles. Must be from previous rituals she's done.
Her sent was intoxicating to me. I kissed along her neckline. Up to her jaw. I heard her swallow.
"Just leave me alone!" She shoved me across her bed and stood up.
She started chanting.
"Oh come on. Don't do this." I groaned.
"Tuante Arubus Mall Kileam. Vacate This Domicile. Become bound to the outside." She growled.
I saw purplish green flames form in her palms. Her eyes glowed purple. I could feel the power radiating from her. It felt vigorous.
This is new of her. I've never seen this kind of power. It kind of reminds me of a fusion. But that's impossible.
I'm almost a little scared. Hint: Almost.
Suddenly, she starts shooting flames towards me, and this scares me. The force pushes me backwards, I crash through her bedroom window and fall to the ground.
I grunt with pain. I think I dislocated my arm.
I jump up and beat her to her front door as she runs down the stairs.
Probably worrying about me, making sure I'm ok. Or you know maybe not, considering she threw me out the window. Correction, she shot me through the window with a flame.
I step forward. As I am about to cross the threshold, something hits me smack in the face, almost like a brick wall.
There was nothing in front of me. I push my hands forward, there was an invisible wall! I couldn't get inside her house.
"What did you do?!" I yelled.
"I simply casted a spell." She replied.
"Oh no. You can't do this to me baby. Come on let me in." I said, pleading.
"First things first. I am not your baby. And second of all, never gonna happen."
"Come on, let's just talk about this."
"There's nothing to talk about Alex. I don't love you, my heart is set on someone else."
She shuts the door on my face.
Oh my god. She's serious!
"Come on baby, open up!" I yelled.
I banged on the door for effect.
Ugh.
"Fine! Be that way. I don't need you. I don't give a damn rat's ass what happens to you!" I screamed.
I'll make her love me if I want, even if I have wipe Dylan off the face of the earth.

I snuck through Dylan's open window to the bedroom.
He isn't here.
I head to the bathroom, look for a hair brush or comb, and found one in the cabinet.
I pull just enough strands out, put the comb back and head out.

As I walk through the graveyard, I look for Rainer at the mausoleum.
I caught him leaning in the doorway lurking in the shadows.
"Hello Alex. Long time brethren. Why do you expect me to help you?"
"Well, you came all this way. Why'd you come then?" I replied.
"Pfft! You don't get it, do you brother? I loved her. I would've done anything for you. Anything!" He spat. "You destroyed her! She didn't come back the same. Right before the wedding as well, and she doesn't even remember. She'll never know that she had ever fallen in love, gave birth to my son and had done coalescence."
"I know, and I'm so sorry for all the things I've done to you Rainer. I never meant to hurt her." I replied, starting to choke up.
"That's exactly what you said about Stella and you killed her! I couldn't bring her back! I came here to finally confront you after all the years I've let myself drown in my pain and sorrows." He yelled.
"Please. I just need your help. You're my brother, we stick together." I said, feeling my eyes tear up.
"You should've thought of that before you went after Katrina. Have I taught you nothing? After everything we've been through, you betray me. I shall never help you again." He bellowed.
His eyes glow the gray/green color they've always had. He steps down from the doorway.
Black smoke and flames shoot from his hands.
"I hope you rot in hell, you monster!" He yelled.
He shot at me with an explosion of smoke that knocked the wind out of me and I landed on my back.
Suddenly, I'm surrounded by black smoke and my vision is clouded. My head feels like it's burning and the only way to get rid of the feeling is to bang it against the ground. I start to suffocate. My eyes roll into the back of my head and I black out.
