Perrie

One class left and I was exhausted. I felt like my mind was going to explode from all the thinking about what I was going to say to Jade when I get out of here.

Yes.

I'm still thinking about her.

Every minute that passes her face appears at least once. No matter how I hard I try to forget and put on a real smile it doesn't work.

But that's okay.

Because I don't want to forget her.

"Okay class your attention!" My gym teacher yells snapping me out of my thoughts.

I had none of the gang for gym which made me kinda look like a loner in this class. I mean, I have Vanessa and Jon which are friends of mine but we're running the track today and I love running alone. Especially when I'm going to be thinking and arguing about Jade the whole time.

Besides it might cool me down.

"Since its last period I'm going to let you off a little easy today! Run the track one lap and then basketball back here when your done!" He yells as I pout to myself that it's only one lap.

"Now go!" He says pointing to the doors as I jog to them and out towards the field and then to the track.

Jade

It was the last class of the day and I couldn't wait to get out of here. Perrie has been on my mind all day and none stop and I couldn't wait to settle down at home with ice cream and hella lot of break up songs.

I looked around the class as all the kids were just doing the assessment I assigned. I then looked at the clock which I only had 15 minutes left.

I did a little fist victory that I will be able to leave soon. I put my feet on my desk and decided to read for the remainder of the time.

Right when I began to read there was a knock at the door as I looked up.

"Come in" I say as the door opens and Perrie walks in nervously.

I put my legs down and looked at her for a second before speaking.

"Yes" I say trying to stop my lips from trembling.

"Yeah I left my notebook here and I was wondering if I can pick it up?" She says adjusting her backpack as I smile a little and nodded.

"Of course, I think a student brought it to me" I say looking around on my desk until I found it. I picked it up about to stand up and hand it to her until something on the cover caught my eye. On the front below her name there was two letters with a heart around it as a sad little smile formed on my face.

There it said:

P + J

In very decorative letters and with a big red heart around it. But what I saw next made my heart tear a little.

Above her name was the same exact letters and heart but it had a big X through it.

"Can I have my book now please?" She says as I looked up as she was behind my desk looking down at me.

"Um...y-yeah" I say my face turning red as I felt like crying at what I saw and I didn't want to happen.

"I'm sorry" she says taking the book and putting it in her bag.

"I didn't want to" she says before walking away and out the door.

I honestly thought right then and there I would break down crying but I didn't. I held back the tears and saved them until I got home.
