Chapter 12

Perrie

I inhaled another puff of smoke and exhaled having it disappear into the air.

It was lunch time and I told the gang that I will be going to the bathroom even though the three girls already know from my eagerness where I'm heading.

I was on the school steps instead of the side of the school as I didn't have to worry about getting caught since it's free class anyway.

I inhaled as I looked around the parking lot and watching pedestrians pass by from across the street that was just across from the school.

I continued to look around as there was nothing else to do until I saw a car pull in into the parking lot and drive into one of the teachers spots.

I squinted and after a second I realized, it was Jade.

"Shit shit shit" I say panicking as I threw the cigarette down and stepped on it, trying to clear the air and covering the cigarette with my shoe.

I popped in a breath mint and saw as Jade shut the door, with food in hand as she approached the school.

Once she looked up and saw me her eyes went wide as she waved and jogged to get to me.

"Hey babe" I say hoping she doesn't ask questions.

"Hey watcha doing out here?" She asks.

Never mind.

"Um...just need to get some air"I say as she nods and cracks a goofy grin.

"What you all smiley about babe?" I ask with a chuckle.

"Come here" she says setting down her food and grabbing me by my shirt and pulling me to the side of the school, looking around in case we blow our cover, before she turns back around and crashes her lips into mine.

She wraps her arms around my waist from inside my jacket while she wraps one of her legs around mine.

I open my mouth more and she's pushes her tongue in as we have a heated make out until we pull back for air.

"Y-your lips are heaven" she breathes out as she kisses me a couple more times.

"Yup well you should go eat, it's your lunch break" I say trying to move but she pushes me back up against the bricks of the school.

"I rather stay with you" she says attacking my lips again.

I pull away and look to the side.

"Well I have friends I should get back to" I say going under her arm and walking away as she calls out my name but I dismiss it as I don't know what's gotten into me either.

I just feel like she won't or can't except me and I don't want to fall so madly in love with her and hide my past and secrets and have it catch up to me and then have it tumble at my feet.

"Perrie!" She says as I hear her shoes against the dirt behind me.

"Here" I say picking up her food and handing it to her.

"Perrie please talk to me baby" she begs as I walk into the school towards the cafeteria.

I turn around as my hand was on the door handle to the cafeteria as Jade stood there.

I just chuckled and shook my head opening the door and heading inside leaving her out there as I wasn't mad at her, I... I don't know really, just needed to think.

I went over to the gang as they all stared at me.

"What?" I say looking up from my hands after a minute.
