"There you are Miss Thirlwall" Ms Phillips says holding my chair out for me as I took a seat, smiling at her.

"Thank you" I say looking around the room as no sigh of anyone I didn't want here hasn't shown up yet. Ms Phillips took a seat next to me as she opened her lunch.

"Everything alright?" She asks as I gave her a dorky smile.

"Perfect" I say my mind going over Perries words one again.

"Great, I thought we were gonna be a little late but I guess we're early because nobody is here quite yet- oh never mind Hun" she says as my eyes follow her face as she stands up, her eyes locked on the door.

Shit.

"Hello Ms Peazer" I heard Ms Phillips said as now my eyes were to my feet.

"Hello, very nice to meet you"

I heard it.

That voice that broke my heart but also wiped it clean.

I heard it.

That voice I couldn't forgive but inside I did.

I heard it.

That voice that made me feel like I was flying and that the sumner sun was something she built for me but also made me scream, cry and drink, and hate myself and everyone around me.

I heard that voice. Again.

"Excuse me Miss?" I heard before I felt a touch on my shoulder.

Her touch.

I felt it.

That touch that made me miss and want  her but also made me feel free.

I felt it.

That touch that I promised I wouldn't feel again but I did.

I felt it.

That touch that made me feel safe and warm and unharmed but a touch that could be poisonous and make me feel like I'm the only one alive in the world fighting for myself against the dead.

I felt that touch. Again.

I slowly looked up to be met with her brown eyes once again.

It's not the same.

I studied her, gathering all the beautiful but broken memories once again.

"Hello Danielle" I say confidently but deep down I knew confidence was the least of what I have.

"And hello Jade" she says as I stand up and take her out stretched hand.

She gave me a nod and the once over before turning to her left.

"And I'm sure you all know this is my boyfriend Sam Craske" she says as my shoulders sink but I try to stay high.

He appears behind her as he does a smile and a wave before his eyes lock on me, his smiling fading and his hand sinking to his side.

"Nice to meet everyone" he says shyly as he intertwined his and Danielle's hands.

I swallowed hard as I approached the couple.
