4 - The Curse of the Silent Night

 ~July 31,1901~Jennifer's PoV~ Last Time~

I knocked on Ciel's door more loudly then I usually do, he didn't answer my call. I opened the door with my mouth closed to see...

~Now~

Sebastian and Angel... Kissing!?! My mouth fell open! A demon and an angel?!? I closed the door quickly but quietly so they didn't hear me. The front door opened and closed, no one left, I believed. I quickly walked down the long hall way and stairs to see Ciel with bags? I gave him a huge hug and he almost fell over from it.

“Oh, Jennifer nice to see you to.” Ciel said sarcastic.

“Ciel, I thought you hated me?!” I almost started crying.

He pushed me back but still had a good grip on mw from holding onto my shoulders.

“What?! Why would I hate you, Jenni? Is it because I left without saying good bye?”

“I thought you were in your study avoiding me?” I had a couple of sniffs in there.

“No, didn't someone tell you? I had to do some business for the Queen.”

“No, no one told me anything!” I was pretty mad and sad.

Ciel cursed under his breath.

“Why would I be avoiding you?”

“Well...” I was a bit scared since I didn't want Ciel to know about my past.

“Let me guess, how you acted to Ashe. That reminds me, explain.” He was serious.

“I'm sorry Ciel, there are some things you must not know about me and my nickname.”

“Why not!? Plus why did he call you Doll?”

“Because I-I... can't say till I know the truth about some things. Excuse me, I wish to go to my room. Oh and one more thing.”

“What?” He had a pretty good annoyed voice but I knew he was just acting.

“Don't go into your study for awhile or get some troubling information, I learned the hard way.”

“What do you mean?”

I walked to my room, ignoring Ciel's question.

~Ciel's PoV~

I went to my study, leaving my bags at the door. I opened the door to see Angel & Sebastian making out!

“Sebastian! If you're going to do that then do it in your room!”

They both had wide eye looks, then Angel gave Sebastian a kiss on the cheek and headed to who knows where.

“Sebastian, go put my luggage away then I better have dinner!” I yelled at him.

'Why in my study?! I guess that's what Jennifer meant about staying out of my study.' I thought.

I went over my desk to see a letter from the Queen, I opened it finding not one but two letters. This is what the first one said.

Dear Earl Phantomhive,

I hope you are treating my granddaughter well.

She has been through a lot in her life. Ashe said that she was having a great time there and loves to have you as her fiance, I hope it is the same for you to her. He also said that you found out about her nickname “Doll.” Knowing her, she didn't tell you and made sure Angel doesn’t say, if you do not want to know then stop reading this letter if you do wish to know, carry on.
